A girl was lying on the floor shivering in pain and fear was none other than our FL, Jiya Nigam. Her eyes wanted to find her mother, her real mother. "Mumma" she cried but no one listened to her pleas. her hand looked red like someone poured hot water on her hand.
"Ab kya hua subh to badi jaban chal rahi thi ab bol" (Now what, in the morning you were talking a lot, now speak up)
A woman elder than her was shouting at her. She was Madhu Nigam, her stepsister. She scrunched her nose in disgust as she saw Jiya's burned hand.
Shina Nigam came into the scene and yelled at Madhu, "What are you doing Madhu?" She looked at Jiya's hand and poured some cold water on her hand. She hissed feeling cold water on her hand. She called a doctor to aid her injury.
The doctor came and examined her hand and said, "It's good that water was not too hot or she would have gotten a scar but I'll give you cream it'll get better in a month."
Shina glared at him and said, "Doctor she should not get a scar or it'll be not good for you"
Madhu was looking at Shina like she was an alien.
After Doctor went away, Madhu yelled at her, "Mom, what are you doing? Why did you call a doctor?"
Shina smirked and said, "Shina, koi pagal hi sone ke ande dene wali murgi ko katta hai" (Sheena, only a crazy person kills the hen that lays golden eggs)
Madhu frowned. "Mom, what do you mean?"
Shina smirked and said, "Shruti maam asked me for her hand in marriage"
Madhu's eyes widen in surprise and shock. "But Mom, how could you marry her into that wealthy family?"
Shina gently held her palm and said, "Madhu" she twisted her hand a little, "Aisa hai ki apni jaban apne paas rakho mujhpe sawal na uthao" (It's like this, keep your tongue to yourself and don't question me) she left her with a jerk and said,
"Tumhe ise marna hai to maro par iski sundarta pe koi fark nhi padna chahiye. Jitne Nishan bane hai iski body pe utne hi rehne chahiye aur agar ye badhe to maar dalunga. Aur ha iska chehra kharab karne ki koshish bhi mat karna"
(If you want to kill her then do so but her beauty should not be affected. Whatever marks she has on her body should remain the same and if it grows up I will kill you. And yes don't even try to ruin her face.)
