Author POV
Dhruv tried to find Jiya in every corner of his city but didn't find her. He tried to find her in another city but got no results. He was getting stressed. He called Aditi and Rudra to find her. Rudra tried to hack her location but still no response.
That day when Shruti returned home after a day,
Dhruv was sitting on the sofa thinking about Jiya. Shruti thought about creating a scene so she started crying and sat beside him. Swara was also with her trying to behave like a good girl. Shruti hugged him and said, "Dekh beta, kya haal kar ke Rakha hai us ladki ne mera?" (Look son, what condition has that girl put me in?)
"Maine uska kya bigada tha jo usne aisa kiya mere sath. Arey mai to bas use samjha rahi thi ek maa ki tarah" (What wrong did I do to her that she did this to me. I was just explaining to her like a mother)
He yelled at her, "Stop it maa. Stop it" his eyes held anger.
She flinched and said, "Dhruv what happened?"
He glared at them and yelled, "Stop behaving like a good mother in law mom. I know everything you did with my Jiya. I even know your capabilities of torturing her so don't behave innocent"
He pointed toward her plastered hand and said, "This punishment is a lot better than the one I would have given you all so feel yourself lucky and don't interfere in my life again"
Shruti looked at him with a little scared face and said, "She told you this right? She's lying Dhruv. She wants to take you away from me."
He scoffed and said, "How could she take me away from you when she left me" Shruti and Swara smiled internally. Dhruv continued, "She signed the divorce papers."
Shruti smiled a little and said, "Leave her Dhruv. Let her go. You can marry Swara she's better than her"
"Mom please I really respect you but this is the last thread of respect I have for you. Feel yourself lucky that Jiya was strong and didn't let you guys torture her or I would have burned you alive."
Shruti gasped and sat on the sofa in shock. Dhruv started going outside but Swara held his hand, "Dhruv please don't go anywhere"
He glared at her and then her hand. She flinched and left his hand while he went to his new apartment.
Swara came inside and sat beside Shruti, "Aunty ye sab kya hogaya." She cried placing her head on her shoulder.
Shruti wiped her tears and said, "Don't worry Swara. You are going to get married to Dhruv. It's my promise and it's good news for us, Jiya and Dhruv are divorced, you have a chance."
