Title: Breaking the Ice

-----------------------------------------------------------------

The sound of your heels clicking against the marble floor echoed through the vast, sleek lobby of the Choi Corporation. It was early, too early for most of your colleagues to have arrived, but you knew better than to be late. Your boss, Choi Soobin, was notorious for his punctuality and his cold, unyielding demeanor. He expected nothing less than perfection from those around him—especially from his personal assistant.

As you stepped into the elevator and pressed the button for the top floor, you mentally prepared yourself for the day ahead. Working for Soobin was a challenge, to say the least. He was the youngest CEO in the company's history, and his reputation as a ruthless, calculating leader was well-earned. Yet, despite his intimidating presence, there was something about him that intrigued you. Perhaps it was the way he carried himself with such confidence, or the way his dark eyes seemed to see through everyone around him.

When the elevator doors opened, you were greeted by the familiar sight of the executive floor. It was quiet, pristine, every detail meticulously arranged—just like Soobin himself. You made your way to your desk outside his office, quickly organizing the day's schedule and making sure everything was in order before he arrived.

At exactly 7:00 AM, the door to the private elevator opened, and Soobin stepped out. He was dressed in a tailored suit, as always, his expression unreadable as he walked toward his office. You stood up, ready to greet him, but he barely acknowledged your presence, his focus entirely on the documents in his hand.

"Good morning, Mr. Choi," you said, keeping your tone professional.

"Morning," he replied curtly, not looking up from his papers.

You watched as he entered his office, the door closing behind him with a soft click. With a sigh, you sat back down at your desk, used to the chilly reception. Soobin wasn't one for small talk or pleasantries, and he rarely gave you more than a few words at a time. It wasn't personal, you knew that, but it still stung sometimes.

The morning passed in a blur of meetings, phone calls, and emails. You stayed on top of everything, as always, making sure Soobin's day ran smoothly. It was a demanding job, but you took pride in your work. After all, not many people could say they managed to keep up with one of the most powerful men in the city.

As noon approached, you received a call from Soobin's lunch appointment, informing you that they had to cancel at the last minute. You hesitated for a moment before deciding to knock on his office door to inform him.

"Come in," his deep voice called from inside.

You pushed the door open and stepped into the office. It was as immaculate as the rest of the building, the large windows offering a stunning view of the city skyline. Soobin was seated behind his desk, his eyes still on the documents in front of him.

"Mr. Choi, your lunch appointment for today has been canceled," you said, keeping your tone neutral.
