Returning Home

It was almost night fall so Sofia and Damian headed to the docks to meet with Talia on her yacht. Damian and Sofia stepped onto the yacht and got settled while Talia started it up. The boat ride was long but Damian and Sofia kept themselves entertained by training before they knew it, they arrived at Gotham. Talia told the kids to wait on the boat while she goes and gets Damians's father so they can all meet. "Does your father know about you?" Sofia asked after the two have been sitting in silence for a couple of minutes. "No mother never told him about me this is the first time I will be meeting him." Damian said looking up at Sofia who started to pace back and forth getting nervous about coming back to Gotham after five years. "Do you know who he is?" Sofia said Damian was about to respond when he heard his mother talking from behind the curtain Talia came back and retrieved the children to introduce to Batman. "This is your son Damian and his partner/friend Sofia Todd." Talia said motioning to both children both of them just looked Batman up and down almost like they are seeing if he would show any sign of emotion with this new information but he just kept a stoic expression the whole time. Batman was a little surprised to hear Sofia's last name as he has never heard Jason talk about a little sister and she does look like a smaller female version of him just without the white streak. "I will protect them." Batman said his voice showing no emotion while his mind was going through so many different thoughts at once. Talia motioned for the children to grab their bags and head with him. Once they came back Batman led them to the bat mobile and fought with Damian since he wanted to drive. Damian sat in front with his father while Sofia sat in the back Batman called Alfered about half way through the drive. "Could you please get two rooms ready we will have two new guest who are staying for a while. and send the boys down to the cave" Batman said on the call that was on speaker. "Right away master Bruce." Alferd responded but something caught Sofias attention the fact that Alfred called him master Bruce as in Bruce Wayne. "Your Bruce Wayne?" Sofia asked but made it more like a statement instead of a question. "Yes, I am heard of me." Bruce responds knowing what was coming next. "Who hasn't heard of the rich billionaire playboy of Gotham but that's not why I asked. Sofia said in a cold tone looking out the window and watching as they pass by familiar streets, she used to pick pocket people on with Jason. "Jason never told me he had a little sister if I knew I would have taken you in to." Bruce was trying to get on Sofia's good side knowing she probably still feels betrayed that Jason left her to live with him. "It's not your fault he just wanted to forget me and I learned to survive by myself before the league found me and Talia raised me."
