Azaizel sat amongst his throne while he listened to his subjects delve into the matters of the states, his powerful yellow eyes now held nothing but boredom and defeat. He would not have listened to him if he knew being king was so much more work than action though he realised that he should be grateful as well. The matters of the state were the same as always powerful clans that refused to yield to the new law even after so long and they would start fights with out clans.

The demon lord had been swift to snuff out any form of rebellion or territorial wars within the demon continent. Then it would be like clock work, he could not blame them much though as demon are believers of strength and prone to violence. Yet Azaizel's new hierarchy consisted of not only brawns but brains.

" Your majesty we have also found something odd in the human continent. " This peaked his interest, his eyes bore into Melina the vampire queen and head of their intelligence given their hypnosis ability. Hearing her mention humans was always the delight of his time as despite their short lifespans humans were the most war prone of all the races.

" Speak. " Melina fiddled with her giant stack of papers and moved them around until she got to a page.

" The human kingdom Lunphia thought to be on the brink of extinction from corruption and exploitation has revitalised. " He raised a brow in question as it was not uncommon for humans to suddenly overthrow a ruler and replaced them with someone competent.

" I do not see the issue of concern. It is humans after all. "

" Your majesty the kingdom has revitalised in a mother of five months. Not only that but the other human kingdoms seem to be supporting it amass an army building fortune. " The demon lord sighed at he knew that they were probably aiming to conquer one of the other continents or himself.

He had grown used to it, within the first 200 years of his rule kings who were on the brink of collapse would amass armies and use the subjugation of the demon lord as an excuse to stay in power. However he was quick to shut that down by wiping out one of the strongest human kingdoms as a warning. A unsettling feeling set in his stomach fear was a great deterrent for human stupidity but it was also an ambition driver for fool hearty plans.

" I see have you gotten intel. " The vampire nodded shifted her glasses up making them glimmer in the pale moonlight that entered through the large window above the throne.

" It seems the foolish King and his Cardinal have an ancient artifact from before you became ruler. They seem to trust it can end your reign. " The man sighed as this was all too familiar in his head, human kingdoms really was just about repetition of the same mistakes. However he still did not like that they trusted this weapon so much but he would deal with it in due time.

" Let me through. " That voice the king knew it was Drugal his right hand man but why would the guards stop him.

" Drugal sir we cannot allow you to bring such a thing before his majesty....gauh. " the silence that came after the scream made the king sigh knowing Drugal had an unrestrained tamper but his curiosity was peaked when the bull like demon burst through the doors with a frightened look.

" Your majesty we have an issue. " He roared out while lugging behind him a lump of fabric and armour. Drugal threw the thing onto the floor with no grace at all making the lump grunt in pain. " A human army has approached our lands I went to stop them but found something. Go on introduce yourself. "

Drugal kicked the lump gently making it grumble in annoyance before it steadily rose to its feet revealing a human. The brown locks of hair and black eyes shining under the pale moonlight, the human drew a sword decorated with jewels and gold looking more like a toy than a weapon.

Azaizel was not worried as neither Drugal or Melina would not allow him to take more than one step. The man looked at him sword pointed threatening and his gritted his teeth.

" Demon king Azaizel I am the hero summoned here to end your reign of terror. I Derius of the dimension earth will kill you and liberate the people. " The man was just like every other so called ' hero ' who had come before him always loud and annoying. The yellow eyes widened though as his mind caught up with the information she had just heard. Within the blink of an eye the king was upon him, his dark grey skinned hand grasped the collar of the hero easily bending the metal armour.

" You. What did you just say. " His yellow eyes were now filled with an intense emotion but contrast to his actions his eyes held no anger, rather they desperation and fear. " Did you just say you were summoned here? Were you summoned from another world? Answer me boy!!! "

" Your majesty he'll die before he can you anything. " Melina reprimanded making the king click his tongue before unceremoniously hurling the hero to the floor who coughed out as he used his unnatural strength to bend the armour from pressing down his throat.

" Yes. I was summoned to this world to defeat you. " The king hung his head down as panic set in his heart quickened as he gazed at his trembling hands.

" Those damn humans!! Do they have any idea what they have done!? " His anger could not be restrained as it overtook him, his magic burst forth from his body cracking the boy. Drugal and Melina realise their own magic to counterattack the king's own power and saving the castle from crumbling. " You how long have you been in this world? "

The hero felt stupid, he felt foolish from ever thinking he could defeat such a monster. The demon lord was leagues above anything he had faced since coming here and his mere presence was pressing down on him. " F-five months. " He could not help but whimper out as he saw the way the demons faces scrunched up into anger.

" Melina send envoys to all the nations and kingdoms tell them a great calamity is approaching and I cannot protect them. Drugal with me. " The king and his aids stomped away leaving the pitiful hero with his shattered pride on the castle floors.

That night Azaizel left his palace for the first time in a hundred years his destination unknown as he let the tremor of the air lead him. If he had known that the humans would be so foolish he would have wiped them out from the beginning.

The reason he had not told any of the other races why he outlawed summoning magic was fear that they would use that knowledge to damn themselves. He knew that their world was not alone in fact he knew that outside of them there where entities much like deity. These entities, ancient and malevolent beings, seek to exploit the summoning magic to enter the world.

He knew that the warning he had received was real as the man who had given him that warning was a being he could not fathom.
