We then broke the kiss, He gazed into my eyes, and his facial expression was vulnerable.

His hand stayed on my cheek, his face flushed with redness from kissing me. His and my lips swollen.

He then let out a breath that he had seemed to hold in, He then moved the hair out of my face, putting it behind my ear.

It was a comfortable silence. The only sound was our breathing.

He them broke the silence.

"Please tell me you want this as much as I want you?" He says to me.

I knew he was still drunk, and it could mean many things from him, but u refuse to believe he wanted to be in a relationship with me.

I then back away a little, creating distance between us. And I grabbed my wine glass and downed it.

" You need to leave," I say to him.

It's for one he kissed me on my birthday, its because I was already a wreck, I have broken my sobriety, I'm a failure, I didn't want anyone to see me like this, nor was I ready for a relationship.

Plus, I heard he cheated on most of his girlfriends, I would rather die than see the downgrade he had if he did cheated on me.

His facial expression fell, He was drunk, and he walked up towards me.

"Come on, Jezebel, We both know we like each other," he says before I cut him off.

"No, we don't, I don't like you like that, I'm sorry, I'll call you a cab and you can go home," I say.

He then bit his tongue, wanting to say more but was stopped.

He then grabbed his coat and gave me one final glance as he made his way outside.

I sat on the pool house couch, alone, I have been drowning myself in pity, by pity. It was wine.

Pouring myself, Glass, After Glass, saying to myself, 'Just one more', I knew it was bad.

I was getting drunk, and the more risk my family saw me like this.

I didn't care. They saw me as a failure anyway, I'll never be Rory..the Golden Child. The princess..

After a few hours, the party had ended, and I saw the cars leave, one by one. And I sat by the side of the pool and played with the water with my feet, letting it obsorb my feet, creating a calming relaxing environment.

I then placed the liquor bottle to my lips and took another sip, I was alone.

I then heard footsteps walking towards me, I didn't dare to look up. I knew who it was.

"Isabelle, honey..." My moms voice says laced with concern.

She then took off her heels and sat beside me, placing her feet in the pool and placing a hand on my back as a comforting gesture.

She then saw the liquor bottle in my hands, and she gently took it away, still rubbing my back.

"Where's Tristan?" She asks.

I looked at her, my eyes dilated, cheeks red,  showing  how truly drunk I was.

"I sent him home..."I said my words slurring.

She nodded as she moved the hair out of my face.

"I told Grandma you didn't want this party, and she should've known better than to serve alcohol." She says

I looked at her, sadness in my eyes at the mention of alcohol, I tried to stay sober, I tried so hard, and it failed..I failed.

I then felt my eyes water, my eyes burning with my tears threatening to spill down my cheeks, I then let out a choked sob.

My mom instinctively embraced me and laid me against her chest, shushing me.

"It's okay, sweetheart, moms here.. I'm here," She says, comforting me.

I then started sobbing louder. I didn't deserve her kindness, and she's willingly comforting me.
