I arrive at the house where my new residence resides which brings back so many memories.

I step out of my vehicle and I walk towards the house and out of the corner of my eye I see a tall figure climbing out of my sisters window which was odd to say a strange tall figure climbing out of my little sisters window it seems to me she has a boyfriend a tall one at that.

I stand there leaning against my car as I see the tall figure climbing out. He looks over at me and smiles. I knew it was Dean.

He smiled awkwardly and walked towards me. He was inching closer and closer as I felt my stomach turn. He was just flirting with me before he just snuck out of my sister's window.

“ Isabelle, you live here?” he asked me.

I rolled my eyes and walked closer to him. My arms were crossed as I moved closer but not so close.

“ Yeah I live here and you just climbed out of my little sister's window why?”

He stands there awkwardly and shuffles a bit.

“ The girlfriend I was telling you about at the store is Rory, I'm surprised I thought I would know about you being her older sister and all” He says to me.

“ We're not exactly close with each other like I have told everyone else” I look down at my feet as I tell him why he has not heard about me through anyone's mouth, especially my sisters.

He shuffles nervously and he looks at me once more.

“ Well she’s in there, good luck” He says, placing a hand on my shoulder as he leaves walking away from my yard.

I look at the illuminating room and I see Rory’s silhouette as she was sitting on her bed probably reading.

I take a good breath for courage. This was the first time I have seen Rory since I was admitted to rehab.

I walk down the pathway and I walk up the stairs.. And I am faced with the door.

You can do this I thought to myself you can walk in you are kinda changed individual you can walk in and see your little sister.

I opened the door and walked in the house. It had stayed the same and the pictures on the wall remained the same.

I walked through the doorway to the living room as I saw my mother with the TV on and she was asleep. She was watching casablanca.

I chuckle silently as I grab a blanket and put it over her.

I then turn off the movie and I walk over to my room. I opened the door and I turned the light on. It stayed the same like mom had said.

I was speechless. It stayed the same. They kept my posters and my books up there and my CD’s are still there.

I layed on my bed and looked up at the tapestry over my bed. It was good to be home.

I then look over by my door and I see my sister. Standing by my doorway with her arms crossed and her face was unreadable.

“ You came back?” She asks.

I sat myself up to look at her. She looked so grown up and I didn’t know if I could take it for her looking so grown up.

“ I see you didn’t turn my room into a library or I don’t know an extra closet” I say with a light chuckle trying to make light of the situation.

Her face was stone cold, her arms still crossed.

“ Are you clean?” She asks me.

My face softened and I felt my heart ache I get why she had to ask but it still hard to remember me she hasn’t seen me sober in a long time.
