As a person, Rian is a troublemaker. He doesn't abide by the rules and is very defiant towards the king. He does whatever he wants whenever he wants. He is a free soul that absolutely despise the current laws. He is very open minded despite being raised in a closed environment. He is also easy to get along with. People can't help but be attracted to his charming personality.
As a prince, he is irresponsible and irritating. He never take the courtroom seriously and he doesn't bother to even participate sometimes. He always avoid training with any form of weapon and prefer to learn sorcery from the queen instead. He cares about his people and just like the queen, he's often seen mingling with the common people. Though he mingles with them more than the queen herself. And unlike her, he openly party and do whatever he wants.
As a son, he hates his father. His hatred towards him was due to his father strictness in his upbringing and how distant he is. He is close to his mother however, she always defend him and supports him. He's also close to his sister, often time they pull pranks on one another. He couldn't however be close with his brother who seemingly hates him.

Backstory:
Rian was born when the kingdom is just starting to return to their former glory. With the king and queen resolving the kingdom financial issue, people are starting to trust them even more. With his birth, the people became even more elated. Most people see this as a good omen. Thus he's named Emmanuel. The name Rian was insisted by the queen who refuses to make Emmanuel his first name.
Being a beacon of hope was tough for a child. The king expected him to do well in everything. From archery to history. His childhood was rather stressful for him. With the both king and queen being busy handling the kingdom, he wasn't given much attention. It was then that he starts becoming a troublemaker. Its one of the only way to get their attention.
Now that he's an adult he still mess around and barely lives in the castle anymore.
