NINE
funeral

JAEHAERA HAS NEVER been so bored in life then being bored at a funeral. it was rude, but she didn't care.

she pursed her lips and fiddled with her ring as she thought of all the other things she could possibly do at this time and moment.

the teen was standing next to helaena as a man who she didn't know spoke high valyrian.

rhaenyra and her sons were wearing red and black, a sign of house targaryen.

alicent and her children were wearing dark green, a sign of house hightower.

jaehaera was wearing a bronze desss, a sign or house runestone.

the dress went down to her shoes. the sleeves were longer than she usually wore them but they were fashionable. the collar of her dress stopped mid-chest. thin, black fabric outlined her collar. she also wore a gold, thin, loose, belt-like that hugged her hips and at the front it had two loose strands, that was fashionable.

her necklace was visble and shining.

most of her hair was down, in soft neat waves. while she had one braid that helaena had done.

(hair and dress at the bottom because i'm so bad at describing it, sorry🤦‍♀️)

even though it was supposed to be a sad day, jaehaera slayed with her outfit.

jaehaera could feel a stare on her but didn't bother looking back, knowing it was her fathers hard, heavy stare on her.

she did her best to ignore it, fiddling with her ring even more. she focused on velaryon's speech instead.

"salt courses through velaryon blood." he said loudly in high valyrian, a harsh glare on his face.

"ours runs thick," he spoke in high valyrian slowly, to get his point across. "ours runs true."
