Building Bonds -A Ruin x Solar story-

Chapter 6

                                        (I'm not going to explain what happened while Solar was working at the Daycare cause I'm lazy. Sorry)

                              I violently try to wipe glitter glue of out my pants. Ugh.. That's going to leave a stain.. I groan, putting my head in my hands. Earth chuckles and walks over to me. "Long day?" She asks. "The kids can be exhausting when you're not used to them." I just nod. I sigh as I lift my head, letting my hands fall to my sides. "I swear, those kids are going to be the death of me.." I say. "I need a break.." Suddenly, Ruin bursts in. "WHO SUMMONED ME." He said. I stare at him bkankly. "What?" 

"Someone said they needed a break." Ruin said.

"Oh, yeah, that was me." 

He stares at me in a weird way before walking over to me. I stare back at him before he scoops me up bridal style and bolts out of the Daycare. "Uh, Ruin? What are you doing?" I ask. "I'm going to give you a well deserved break." He says. I just stare at him blankly before shrugging it off and just letting him do his thing. I close my eyes for 2 seconds and suddenly were not in the Pizzaplex anymore. We're in front of a.. Chili's? He puts me down. "Why are we at a Chili's?" I ask. "I was thinking we could go on a d- I MEAN HANG OUT." Ruin says. Was he about to say 'go on a date'? That actually doesn't sound to bad. "Sure. Lets 'hang out'." I say. 

                                   He grabs my hand and pulls me into the restaurant. Apparently we have a reservation. I wonder how long he was planning this. We sit down at a table for two. Ruin just sort of stares at me. I stare at him back. For what felt like Years of a staring contest, he speaks up. "Soo? What do you want to eat?" He asks. I look at the menu. "I dunno. I need some time." I say. He nods. "Mk!" 

                   It's been a few minutes. Oh God, I can't pick. Not to mention I'm not very hungry. I glance at Ruin. He smiles back at me. I don't know why, but that smile makes me smile. I out the menu down and chuckle nervously. "I can't choose.." I say.

                                                                      -Ruin's perspective-

                    "I can't choose.." Solar says, chuckling nervously. Don't fear! I planned for this. I planned EVERYTHING out. "That's okay!" I say with a smile. He smiles back. His smile is really cute. I wonder if he feels the same about me. Now's not the time for that, though. I'm on a date with Solar, even if he doesn't know it, and I'm going to make it perfect. He nods, shifting his gaze so its not meeting mine. I try to shrug it off, but its hard to. What if he hates mmeeeeeeee? Remember Ruin. Last time you thought that you were wrong. No need to panic. 

     

                                               (Time skip to when they leave the Chili's)

                I stare up at the starry sky, my hand holding Solar's. Solar looks over at me, a smile on his face. "We should 'hang out' More often." He says. Oh. He knows that this wasn't just a hang out. Well then. I've got nothing to lose. "We should! I have to go now, but I'll see you later, okay?" I say. He nods. I slowly lean in. He just stared at me. Then, gently, I peck him on the cheek. I can feel his face heat up. Hopefully I didn't just ruin of friendship. "Love ya!" I say before walking away.
