                   The night they died.

Charlie was only two, Harry was one. Harry may not remember that night, but Charlie sure does.

"James hun, put Harry back in his crib. You're on dinner tonight, remember?" Lilly asked her husband, James Potter.
"Alright, alright, I know." James responds slightly disappointed before putting Harry back in his crib.
James goes downstairs, and Lily puts Charlie in his room. He had fallen asleep on the floor after playing with his toy cars.
Charlie and Harry already had dinner, Lily and James always make sure they have dinner before them and wait for the kids to go asleep for the night before making for themselves and going asleep.

This night after dinner, Peter showed up at the door.
"James! Could you answer the door?" Lily called from upstairs, Harry had reawaken, and she wanted to make sure he'd sleep through the night.
"On it!" James called from the kitchen. He was washing dishes, he dried his hands and went to the front door, when he opened it, he saw Peter.
"Hey, Pete, what are you doing here?" James asked his childhood best friend and Secret Kepper.
"I'm sorry, James." Peter says before apparating away. There was a hooded figure behind him. The figure pulled down his hood. James tensed up.
"Voldemort." James muttered.
"LILY TAKE THE BOYS AND RUN!" James shouted upstairs. He tried shutting the door, but Voldemort was already inside. James turned and ran upstairs.
"AVADA KEDREVA!" Voldemort casted at James, who was halfway upstairs. James' body fell to the ground limp and lifeless.
Voldemort slowly and menacingly walked upstairs, walking over James' limp body. He entered through the open door where Lily was in front of Harry's crib.
"Move Silly, girl."  Voldemort hissed at her.
"No, please! Not Harry! Anything but Harry!" Lily cried, turning to face him.
"Slilly girl. Avada Kedavra." Voldemort casted, annoyed.
Lily's body fell to the ground limp and lifeless, like James' as Voldemort looked at the baby awake in the crib. Sitting up there was Harry Potter.
"Avada Kedevra!" Voldemort hissed at the baby Harry. It hit Harry but rebounded and hit Voldemort, turning him to dust, maybe?

Five minutes passed, and Harry started crying. Charlie stumbled in he walked over and crouched down to his mothers body and shook her.
"Mama? Mama wake up." Charlie says, shaking her. Cold, too cold. Charlie was worried but stood up anyway, and a second later, there were footsteps. The door was already open, so he turned to it. A bearded man who he'd seen before stood there worried.
"Hagrid." Harry babbled from his crib. He claimed down a little since seeing Charlie and Hagrid.
"C'mere, Arlie, and Arry." Hagrid says, walking over to the two boys. He gently swadeld Harry and picked him up before holding Charlie's hand. He leads the two outside to his motorbike he stops Charlie in the side seat and hands Harry to him, buckling Harry under the seat belt. And flying off into the night.

A few hours later, they arrived at Privet Drive. Harry is asleep, and Charlie is barely awake. Dumbledore and McGonnagall were waiting for them.
"Are we really going to leave these two here!" McGonnagall exclaimed. "I mean, honestly, Albus! These are the worst Muggles ever!" She continues.
"Yes, Minerva, I know, but they're the only living relatives the boys have left!" Dumbledore responds a lie, obviously.
"Oh, I'm dead. Where's my grave?" A voice says from the wall behind them. They spin around and look at the person. Eddie Evans, former Hufflepuff at Hogwarts and Lily Evans twin brother.
"I-uh...We assumed you were dead..." Dumbledore lies.
"Even if not, those two are my nephews and will live with me." Eddie says, gesturing to Harry and Charlie.
"Ah..er yes, right." Dumbledore says with a nod.

And so for the next ten years, Harry and Charlie live with their Uncle Eddie. And he doesn't hurt them like the Dursleys would. He's actually nice and like a dad.
