"Wooo shit, thank you girl." Dylan exclaimed as she rose up out of the chair after being on her ass for 5 hours straight. She walked over to the mirror admiring her knotless goddess braids that were still dripping wet on the ends.

She ran her fingers over them, posing in the body length mirror while sticking her tongue out.

"Ain't no thang girl. You know I got chu." Her stylist, Kianna, said spraying a little oil sheen over them to give them a shine.

Dylan got tired of her extensions, and having to make them presentable every time she woke up, so she set herself an appointment with one of the best stylists in the A. She had been going to her for years, and luckily they got to catch up since Dylan hadn't rocked any braids in a while.

Since the get together was in a few more hours, she decided to get some things done beforehand, and that included her hair and finding an outfit.

She reached into her black Marc Jacob's tote bag and grabbed her Michael Kors wallet, pulling out 300 dollars in large bills. She then handed her a 50 dollar bill as a tip.

"Thank you so much bookie. Ima get up outta here tho. I got more damn errands to run." Dylan said rolling her eyes. She walked over to Colby, who was fast asleep in one of the empty appointment chairs. Softly, she landed a punch to his chest.

"Come on boy, we gotta go shopping."
He awoke abruptly, clutching his chest with a scrunched up face.
"You gone quit beatin my ass like I'm yo bitch or sum." He said with a very real attitude.

Dylan just laughed as he slowly emerged from the chair, following behind her out of the salon.

She initially wasn't going to go all out on her fit, but her and Roman began texting earlier about it, and he gave her a bit of motivation to switch it up. Hearing her phone ding, she checked the incoming message.

Playfully rolling her eyes at his message, she hopped in the drivers seat of her car, and Colby seated himself right beside her

Playfully rolling her eyes at his message, she hopped in the drivers seat of her car, and Colby seated himself right beside her.

She placed her phone in the center console, pressing the button to start her car up.
Since Colby wouldn't be starting work for a couple of days, she took the pleasure of dragging him around with her whenever she was able to.

She wanted his opinion on what she would look good in, since she wasn't a fashionista by any stretch of the word.
It wasn't like he was able to actually pick out clothes on her behalf, but she assumed that maybe he could give her a different vantage point.

All she knew was that she definitely wasn't mentioning that it was unknowingly for Roman. She knew that it would just make things awkward between everyone. Plus, it wasn't like they were dating or even planning to. From what Dylan knew, it was nothing more than harmless flirting and banter.
