Sora's unearthly screeches were the only thing heard for a few seconds.

And then, the people in the cafeteria noticed the two unmoving bodies outside the glass windows.

Blood puddled around them.

And madness erupted throughout Bayshore.

Camera flashes.

Cries and unsure chatter.

Even screams, in shock because they've never seen something so.. raw?

“Hello everyone. Lunch has been cut short, please head back to your classes. I repeat, please head back to your classes.” The robotic voice announced.

It didn't do anything though, students still crying and screaming.

Bayshore staff had to put a tarp around Hoya and Lottie, to stop the pictures.

“Students. Please go back to class. The paramedics are on their way. I repeat, please head back to class.”

“I don't know.. there's so much blood- are you sure she'll be okay?” Caska worried, scrolling on her insta time-line, seeing the unmoving body of her friend.

All of Lottie's friends had gathered in an empty unused classroom, just as she told them to do.

“Yeah, people are saying that the body on top of hers is Hoya's. He must've broken her fall.” Liz eased.

“Yeah,” Mike sighed, “Let's think happy things!”

That was the complete opposite of what Ruden could do.

He was crouched, hands on either side of his head.

This is crazy.

This is so crazy.

Why did she do this?!

“Ruden, did you throw away the burner phone?” Liz questioned, making him lift his head to look at her.

“Y-yes.”

“Nice.” she smiled.

Maybe it was because he had romantic feelings for Lottie, but he was in utter turmoil. Not knowing whether she was alive or dead.

But Liz..

She seemed so.. at peace?!

It angered him a little.

“You're scared aren't you?”

He quickly looked away from the redhead, hiding his scowl. “Of course, she fell off a damn roof.”

Liz smiled keenly, “Just trust her. Lottie's okay.” She sighed and spaced out, a ghostly look in her eyes, “She’s special.”

“Sora..” Doris choked out, trying to relax her hysterical friend, “It’s okay.. the hospital people will-”

“BE QUIET DORIS.” Sora threw her book bag across the quiet room, and went back to looking out the window, watching the paramedics carry out Lottie's and Hoya’s bodies.

“I could've helped her. I could've just..” A sob racked out her throat, “I could've just left her alone. I led her straight to the mouth of a beast.”

She pressed a shaking hand onto the window, “I could've helped her. I could've helped them all.”

“Kason says-”

“I DON’T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT WHAT HE SAYS!”

Sora slammed a fist to the window, making Doris jump.
