Half the day was over and it's time for the band signups. It's never really been fun, but at least I have my friends with me. Looking around the room, I kind of gag and try to hold back my laugh. I'm not the judgy type, but if you were here, you'd laugh too. I continue scanning until my eyes meet Blake's. "Blake? What are you doing here?" I laugh in a confused way. He points behind me. I turn around and see.. "Wait.. Louis?" I screamed. "Haha, hey Bambi!" Louis shouted sarcastically. I sat down next to him and sighed. "But I thought you guys hated.." I pointed around the room. "You know—This!" I pulsed with confusion. What if they're just here to mess with me and Gabi?

It was almost through the lesson and I had figured out I was correct. It was time to pick partners for a new song we were learning. "I call Bambi!" Louis shouted. I cupped my face with my hands. *This has got to be a nightmare.* I thought to myself. "Do you even play ANY of these instruments?" I scolded. "Do I need to?" Louis answered sarcastically. I taught him how to put his fingers on the fret board to play a chord. He was doing surprisingly well.. like he had played before. I stared at him puzzled as he played a C progression with no problem. "Did I do it?" He questioned. I nodded, my jaw nearly on the floor. "I guess.. you'll do good at the concert then!" I laughed.

Piece of advice, don't be cuddling in the hallway. It's just annoying and strange. "Hey Ali and Luna.." I scoffed. Luna jumped out of Ali's arms and gave me a hug. Luna was a little taller than me so she had to bend over. I'm sure you can fill in the gaps of what happened when she bent over. "That's gross, Ali!" I unlatched myself from Luna's grasp. I looked over to the English room where Gabi had her 4th period. "Have you guys seen Gabs?" I turned back and asked Ali and Luna. They both shook their heads. "Check the bathroom maybe." Ali said, it looked like a lightbulb had appeared above their head.

I entered the bathroom as the 5th period bell rang. "Gabi?" I whispered. I heard another voice. "You're late!" A teacher yelled from a stall. Safe to say I had ran out of the bathroom. I ran to 5th period hoping Gabi would be there, but the door was already closed and locked. "Oh I give up!" I said, stomping to the cafeteria. My last resort was calling Gabi. It went straight to voicemail. "This is NOT Gabriella, nice try man." The voicemail read. I called again, and again, and like 7 more times. Still voicemail. I tried calling her home phone and I got someone to pick up. "Is Gabi home?" I said to whoever was over the phone. "Uh, no, why?" Her sister replied. "Nevermind, sorry." I hung up. *So where the hell is Gabi?* I thought to myself. I decided to skip until the party tonight. Gabi had to be there, right?
