The beginning

I was there in Parvati's wedding. It was something that I always wanted. To watch my sister get married to the love of her life. I would be her maid of honor she would be mine. Our bond was years long of course because we are cousins. However I had never gotten along with any of my other cousins. She was not only my cousin sister but also my entire world. Now seeing her getting ready for marriage is more exciting to me than anything. However being on bodyguard duty for my sister? Yeah.... Long story short her fiance.... Agneedath Dev Shankar.... Is a man of great power and wealth. One thing about him that I remembered? He was OBSESSED with her. So... One moment of him not seeing her? And he is alone? Ends up in him sneaking over the next day. Paru had to wake up early so she slept in a separate house while her parents were in the auditorium getting the things ready. As I was peacefully sleeping alongside my lovely sister a loud clank was heard from downstairs and both of us jolted awake. My sister looked to the balcony and her eyes widened and before I could look where she was looking she grabbed my shoulder and turned me to her. "Ammu you have to go down and check who it is. I can't come you know. It's not an appropriate outfit" she said and I nodded. I got down from the bed and opened the door shutting it behind my back and started going downstairs. All the lights were out. I wore a robe over my rather exposing outfit and opened the door not forgetting to take a pan in my hands. I felt my heart thud in my chest as I slowly approached the darkness and when I saw a tall, muscular figure in the dark my eyes widened as I raised my pan in defense. The strange figure suddenly grabs the pot from my hand and push me to the wall and suddenly the light goes on making me grimace my eyes adjusting to the light. I came face to face with a man with slicked back hair that was slightly messy and light beard and I had to look up to him to adjust to the height. He had his arm above my head by the wall and he glanced at me almost bewildered and suddenly my robe slipped off revealing my strawberry design spaghetti strap pajamas underneath. His eyes lingered on my thighs and I blushed in embarrassment and yelp. "AHH PERVERT. WHAT ARE YOU... mm" he suddenly covered my mouth with his palm muffling my scream. "Stop screaming woman.... And I am not a pervert I am Agnee's brother" he says and I grumble in confusion. "Huh?" "I am Ranvijay Aditya Shankar. Agneedath's brother. Your sister's brother-in-law" he says and my face flushes in embarrassment as I recognize the familiar face. The man that I had a first sight love on and I suddenly felt hot all over. "W-why are you here then? That too in the middle of the night?" I asked trying to maintain a bold facade but it was hard because of his scrutinizing stare. "My brother wanted to see your sister and he wanted ME to distract YOU" he says and I suddenly connects the dot. That little... Even my own sister betrayed me. "But then again I guess I won't mind being your distraction" he says with a cocky smirk and I get a flash of his dimple. Usually if some other man put me in this position I would have kicked him in the shin. But this man? He was different. He made it so hard for me to even move. My eyes's widened as his fingers started tracing my thighs and I yelped kicking around. "Hey. Dude what the-" and before I could push him away he pinned both of my arms above my head. "Hey what's going on?" I hear my sister's voice and my eyes widened as Ranvijay moves away from me shoving his hands in his pockets. "Well I was just introducing myself to your sister....." He says staring me down and I gulp looking away gritting my teeth. "In that position?" She asks and Ranvijay shrugs. "Who knows.... I might have something REALLY important to do with your sister in the future..." He says and I shoot him one of my fierce glares that usually scares off everyone but this man just winked at me making my mouth drop. "Ammu why is your face so red?" My sister asked teasingly and I gulped looking away. "I-I am just embarrassed okay? Nothing else." "And hey what do you mean importance in the future huh?" I asked the man and he smirked taking a step closer to me his hands shoved in his pockets. "Well? We will just have to find out won't we?" He asked and I whip my head around to look away. Agneedath.My future brother-in-law groans and says. "Come on Jai let's go.... Anyway you two ruined my moment and here you were enjoying your own" he says and I roll my eyes. I looked at my sister searching for any marks and luckily there was none. "Agnee did you seriously bring this man to distract me? Are you serious? You can't wait for one day?" I ask trying to take my embarrassment on him and he rolls his eyes. "It's my girl anyway. Besides I can't stay away from her 2even for a second and you are asking for a whole day. Nope..not happening" Agnee says and my sister blushes looking at him and then down on the ground. "Besides.... Pari" Jai.... Says and my eyes widened. Was he referring to Paru? "I am talking to you girl" he says stepping closer to me again and I step back embarrassed by the proximity. "It's a good thing we met right? I had always loved Rapunzel and I met the live action one in real life" he says caressing my braid. "Long hair, holds pans to attack people.... You are an interesting one Pari" he says and I clear my throat in embarrassment. "I am not your Pari" I said holding my head up high and folding my hands over my chest and his eyes narrow with a smirk. "Not yet at least" he says and Agnee groans. "You two are here romancing after ruining mine? Come on Jai we are leaving" Agnee says and starts to drag his brother away and Jai winks at me before walking away. What the hell had just happened? Why is my heart racing too?
