The ringtone from my phone had woken me up lazily i got up and had turn it off
"Why do i still have a alarm for 7 am when its summer already? Ugh im gonna die.." i said while getting to use the restroom
I brushed my teeth and washed my face then went to go see if breakfast is ready
My mom greeted me w a smile "you sure are up early"
"Hi mamke! Is dad still sleeping?" I asked
"Yeah he was playing that stupid game again i dont know why he still plays at night when he knows he has work!" My mom said disappointed
"Like father like daughter.. im only up because i forgot to turn off the clock" my mom giggled a little and started preparing food for our breakfast
"So.. whats for breakfast?" I said as my mom just give me a 'you know what' look "is it eggs again? Ugh i hate eggs"
"Theyre healthy for you! Actually you should eat atleast 2 eggs a day"
I just signed and waited for my food. after a while i got my eggs
"Whats up naomi? Are you planing to go somewhere i dont want you to rot in ur room playing games the rest of the summer"
"Mamke my summer just started besides i only do that if its raining.." i said kinda angry about that comment
"So youre heading somewhere?" Mom said happily while taking a seat next to me
"I was wondering where i could take my friends today! I hope theyre free i didnt text them yet" i said excited
"How about you guys go for a picnic?"
"That's actually a good idea! I'll text them now!" i said as i stood up
"If you want i could help you prepare some things for the picnic"
"Really? Thanks mam!" I quickly sprinted to my room to text my friends
After a while they replied and we decided on where to go and what to bring
-time skip-
After finding a perfect spot and sitting down we ate, talked and had some fun playing games like uno and after few hours we decided to head home
"Naomi got a sec?" One of my friends pulled my aside "do you think you could help me w cat hunting today? I know you like cats too so i was wondering if youd like to join me"
"What is cat hunting... Are you eating cats.." i took a few steps back
"Nahh im just looking for homeless cats feed them and pet them i dont eat cats are you crazy?.." she said upset i even thought of that
"Sorry woke up early today" i gave an awkward smile "of course ill come along!"
After that we said our goodbyes to the other friends and headed to find cats
