Tonight was the night of all high school nights, prom!

The night every girl dreamed of.

Of course, Juliet was going to go to more dances in her high school career, but tonight was her very first.

Which meant it had to be the best, to set the bar for the rest yet to come.

Technically, the girl wasn't supposed to be at the dance tonight. Considering she was a sophomore. But, being popular always had its perks.

Coming home from school that day, Juliet immediately began getting ready for the night.

Her dress was a floor length silk blue one. With a halter neckline and loop in the middle.

Juliet straightened then curled her usually wavy her and wore a sliver necklace that matched her dangling earrings.

To finish her look, she dusted her eyes with light sliver eyeshadow. Mascara, blush, and some lipgloss was all the girl needed to feel like a princess.

She felt and looked beautiful, even more than usual.

At least that's what Cameron thought when he opened the Chilton's front door.

"Hi." Juliet smiled.

"Wow. I, um... wow."

The two laughed as Cameron placed a corsage on the girl's wrist. It matched the rose in his tuxedo's pocket.

Cameron chatted with Juliet's family until she was able to pull him away and out of the house.

"Sorry about them." She laughed a little, getting into the car.

"Don't be, they remind me of you. Very lively."

The girl blushed and gave the boy a peck on the lips as they drove to the dance.

When they stepped on the dance floor, eyes darted toward the girl as many rushed over to compliment her.

She talked for a second, before grabbing Cameron's hand and running off.

"This is one of the best nights of my life." Juliet whispered in the boy's ear as a slow dance began.

The brunette smiled and connected his lips to hers. "Mine too."

The two continued to dance until they heard a commotion from somewhere on the dance floor.

Suddenly, Michael was by the twos side. "The shit has hiteth the fan...eth."

"Come on." Juliet frowned, leading her date to where the noise was.

Immediately the girl locked eyes with Joey who looked even more mad than when she had broken up with him.

"Joey, pal, compadre. Listen..." Michael started before he was roughly pushed to the floor.

"You messed with the wrong guy, and now you're gonna pay." Joey suddenly yelled at Cameron, then pointed towards Juliet. "You, and that little bitch. You think you can play me then start dating my ex?"

"Alright, that's enough! Okay? You crossed the line." Cameron said while stepping forward, his fists clenched.

Unfortunately, the other boy beat him to the first punch. Just one and the brunette was down.

Juliet immediately kneeled down, helping her date up as Joey continued to yell.

"Oh come on! Get up, you little punk!"

But the boy wasn't the one to get up. Quickly the blonde shot up and punched Donner straight in the nose.

The raven haired boy stepped back, clutching his bloody face. "Shit, Juliet! I'm shooting a nose spray ad tomorrow!"

"That's for making my date bleed!" Second hit. "That's for Bianca!" Third hit. "And that's for me. For all the shitty things you did to me while we were dating, you fucker."

With one final kick to the side, Joey was down and Juliet was storming off.

"That's my best friend!" Adriana cheered as everyone followed the girls influence. Cameron trailed closely behind the blonde.

"Juliet!" He called getting her attention. "That was...amazing."

The girl smiled a little and began fidgeting with her hands. "Sorry I never really told you what happened...between me and Joey."

"Yeah. How'd long you date for?"

The blonde took a long breath before answering. "Like one, uhm, year. He cheated on me, though."

Cameron's eyes widened a little before nodding slightly. "I guess we'll just have to break your record of longest relationship then, huh?"

Juliet began to laugh and she wrapped her arms around the boy. "Is that your way of asking me to be your girlfriend?"

"Is that alright?"

The girl leaned in as the two kissed. "Definitely."

As the new found couple walked their way back into the dance, Kat and Patrick stormed out.

Juliet's eyebrows furrowed. "That can't be good."

"Definitely not," the brunette said, "but let's enjoy tonight while it's still happening."

And that's exactly what they did.
