Rin is a sarcastic 6'4" guy who likes to do stupid shit and cause mayhem. His Wendigo form is between 7' 12", making him either taller/shorter/or same height as Slenderman

Rin likes; cigarettes, coffee, alcohol, heavy metal music, playing his guitar, drawing, cooking meals (even if it will make him sick he still likes to cook mainly for others) and of course killing and Jeff.

He dislikes; people (besides eating them) most kinds of human food, and being touched by people older than him, bright lights, and loud noises.

Rin or Rinnie as Jeff called him, was indeed a normal young boy who was in love with his only friend, until his family tried to drive them apart. A few months after Rin had killed his family was when he 'died' his body unable to process not eating real food and only eating raw meat. Rin was 10 years old when he killed his family a few days before his birthday, but he was 11 years old when he also became a Wendigo; a mythological cannibalistic monster, that is either a fearsome beast that stalks and feasts off of humans or a spirit that possesses humans, causing them to turn into cannibals. A few years into Rin's 'new life' was when he found Loki who at the time was a cub, he took her in and they became attached and looked after each other. Loki is a mythological lion-like dragon called Kanglasha.

Before Slenderman had brought Rin in he was living in his old run down house because he wanted to stay in the house that had brought him so much joy in the end. If Rin goes too long without 'eating' is when his Wendigo form comes out and he can and will attack, kill, and eat anyone or thing, besides Loki. They don't know why she is safe but they think because she cares for him and that form knows this somehow. Sometimes when Rin is eating he goes into his Wendigo form or if someone gets too close to him while he is eating. All of his family was abusive to him, besides his mother's brother (his only uncle) Jorel Scott, before he was killed in a house fire which his parents had started. His family didn't like when people were nice to Rin, they all saw him as an outcast and a disgrace to the family like they said his uncle was. The only people that liked him other than his uncle was the Woods' family, they always wanted and/or tried to adopt him out of his family but they never could, it is why he was almost always over at the Woods' house.

Most of the time Sally and Loki are seen following him around or him holding Sally in his arms. He sees Sally as a little sister and spoils her, he lets her paint his nails, color his tattoos, braid his hair and even do tea parties with her.
