11. Brand new Colours

Once lived in a gray world

My eyes are now glad to be blessed with a colorful one.

As my eyes are glad, I am too,
Because I now live a life full of colour, only thanks to you.

As if you were a filter on my brain that took over the old and gray one.

I can only compare this feeling to fireworks, or maybe a lightning.

My life, dark and almost completely empty, just like the sky,

and you, so colorful and sudden like fireworks.

Filling up my life with joy and love
just like fireworks fill up the atmosphere.

You've brought new life to my world, 
filling it with warmth and meaning. 

You've shown me what it truly means to see and feel. 

And just so you know, 

the only colors I care to love 
are the ones I started to see after meeting you.
