"Roger that Cole, I'm on my way." Kai Smith said in a husk voice, abandoning his beating of the thug and quickly made his way up the shadowed buildings. He looked and saw parts of the moon's glow shining through cracks of the concrete. Him and Cole had just finished busting another vengestone smuggling operation from a couple of thieves and whatnot.

"Send your coordinates, I'm near the harbour." He spoke, and clicked his earpiece.

Running across planks of wood and metal he made a fantastic jump across two edges and found himself face-to-face with the familiar view of sea. He felt a bit tired from all the running this evening and dropped down to let his legs swing over the hedge.

It wasn't for another few quiet minutes when there was a familiar sound of propelling from a helicopter, which he saw his subordinate— Cole inside.

"GET IN HOTHEAD!" He called over the loud noise and the red-clad ninja rushed over in time before they rose up into the air.

Climbing into the small cabin the doors suddenly slid closed, expelling the gush of wind from the small space and Kai made his way over to one of the benches, letting out a big sigh.

"How was it?" Cole asked, still flying the helicopter high into the air.

"Not bad, shame I couldn't use some fire— would've been finished sooner." Kai mumbled.

Because of the certain properties vengestone had, his powers got sluggish on him and he had to resort to some last minute punches and kicks.

"All this vengestone business is really fishy." He said suspiciously. Recently, the ninja had decided to look into this vengestone business, seeing as the stone's only important usage is to weaken a user's elemental power.

Kai had been sent out to bust a new shipment that had disguised as a delivery truck. Over the last two weeks there had been multiple reports of smuggling operations happening all over the city which led them to a confusion on where it could have possibly come from.

Looking out the window he saw a mass of black waters beneath them as they were approaching familiar territory.

"Due two minutes." He heard Cole grunt and he felt them go faster. The monastery came into view and they landed in a conserved parking area connected to their control room and Cole slowly landed the copter on the launchpad with the twi hopping off and saw the rest of the team still up waiting for them.

They raced each other down the steps and came face-to-face with Master Wu who spoke, "Did you catch the smugglers?" Kai looked at Cole who nodded. "Good job you two, now I want everyone to gather around."

He signalled to the rest of the team, who exchanged curious looks at what their next assignment was.

The ninja gathered around the main control panel where Wu was standing next to Pixal and she pulled up an image of the royal family of Ninjago on the big screen, making their interests peak.

"Ninja, we have been given a new mission in addition to the vengestone smuggling to look into— this will be one of our top priorities and I encourage all of you to work hard." Master Wu spoke up, looking around at his students.

"Pixal, if you must." He added and let her do the rest. "Ninja, as what Master Wu has told you all this mission will be crucial and will be at the number one spot on our list. We have been given the task of foreseeing and guarding the royal family."

And when the words came out of her mouth there was an excited cheer from the team.

"The royal family? As in THE royal family?!" Jay exclaimed, blue sparks forming from his excitement.
