WENDY'S P.O.V

It was a regular old day in rainy England. I stared sadly out of my window as the rain poured like a waterfall. It's like this nearly everyday - and if it's not, then it's cloudy. Honestly I don't know why the Atlantic Ocean is still there we get so much rain! I turned back to my desk and tried to revive my brain.

"Okay, so if X is bigger than minus six, then the line must go here." I drew a quick solid line down the graph and sighed. This isn't homework, oh no, I would never do homework the day it was due. No. This was extra credit. Volunteer work. I do this to help boost up my grade. If I want to get an A* on my GCSE's, I have to be prepared, and studying is the way to do it.

"Wendy, let's go!" My mum called from downstairs. I quickly jumped up and grabbed my pale yellow backpack, before hopping down the stairs. The door opened, and I stepped outside, holding my umbrella over my head as I walked to the car - which was parked across the street.

The car ride was pretty boring. I sang along to some Taylor Swift before we finally pulled up in front of my High School.

"Have fun love." My mum said, leaning over to kiss my cheek. "Make sure you get your notes for studying!" I nodded and opened the car door. It was still raining, maybe even heavier than before, so I pulled out my umbrella again, waved a final goodbye to my mum and began to walk to my form room.

IRIS' P.O.V

My hand slammed onto my phone for the third time this morning. Why was it beeping so much? Ugh. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, left over mascara from last night's party now stained my eyes and hands. Running my hand through my turquoise hair, I checked the time on my phone.

8:15am.

Shit I have to be at school in ten minutes! Why did mum not wake me up? I lazily climbed out of bed and half walked half fell out of my bedroom door. My head was pounding and I knew it was from all the alcohol last night. I rapped my knuckle on my mum's bedroom door and slid my head through the gap. She wasn't there. Most likely out with her boyfriend again. I sighed in frustration and stomped back into my room, getting dressed and fixing my hair and make-up. I then went into my little sister's room, pulling the quilt off of her tiny body.

"Wake up El." I shook her slightly and she stirred, opening her baby blue eyes. "Come on baby it's time for school." Sweetly, I took her hand and pulled her out of bed.

Elise was only five, yet mum thinks it's fine to leave her in the house on her own. All sorts of horrible stuff could happen to her! She locked her eyes on me as I helped her into her school uniform.

"Iwis you don't look happy." El scrunched her eyebrows as she read me like a book. "Where's mummy?"

"I don't know baby." I wiped her face and then her hands, making sure she looked presentable. "But come on, I'm gunna take you to school today so you can see your friends!" El smiled, showing her missing front teeth.

By the time I got to my school, I was twenty minutes late. I dashed into my form room just to catch Mr Finn finishing the register.

"I'm here!" I called, falling into my seat at the back. I noticed the whole class had turned to look at me, including the little blondie at the side. Damn, she never turns around for anything.

"Well Miss Neilson you're late." I shrugged my shoulders at him, causing the class to laugh. "And may I ask why you haven't had your hair dyed back to its natural colour?" I knew he was going to bring this up. At Greenpine High, we aren't allowed to dye our hair. At all. And I knew just the response.

"At least I actually have hair." The whole class gasped and burst into laughter and I saw Mr Finn's face turn red.

"Detention Miss Neilson. Twenty five minutes at lunch." Once again, I shrugged my shoulders.

"Sir I know you like me but you don't have to keep me in every lunch just so you can see me." Mr Finn slammed his hands on the table and stood up.

"OUTSIDE. NOW." I stood up and very slowly walked towards the door. I turned around and locked eyes with the first person who came into my view. Blondie. I winked at her, and left the room. But not before I saw a very obvious blush take over her face. Ahh, the things I can do to people. Sir slammed the door behind me, and instead of waiting outside for him, I walked down the stairs and off into the school corridors. I'm gunna have some fun.
