WENDY'S P.O.V
When Mr Finn walked back into the room, I had enough time to control my awful blush. I don't even know what happened, Iris just winked at me and left the room. Was she trying to tell me something? If she was, then why? Iris Neilson is one of the most popular girls in school. I was so confused. Once again, my eyes strayed towards the door, and I was just in time to see the girl with turquoise hair walk down the stairs. I just shrugged all the questions out of my mind and listened to the rest of form time.
As the bell rang, I hauled my bag onto my shoulder and rushed out of the room, hoping to avoid the crowd. My first lesson of the day was Spanish, so I had to walk all the way out of Maths and half way across school within five minutes to reach my classroom. My legs moved fairly fast, and before I knew it, I was sat in my seat waiting for lesson to start. To my complete and utter surprise, Iris walked in just behind the teacher and was stood by her desk talking until the bell went, signalling the beginning of lesson.
"¡Hola chicos y chicas! Todos los días..." I tuned out during the first sentence. I was fluent in Spanish so I didn't really have to listen, I just jotted down notes here and there and tried not to be noticed by anyone. I felt a sudden urge to use the ladies room and my hand shot up immediately.
"Si chica."
"Senorita, puedo por favor utilice el bano?" I asked, which translates to 'Miss, please may I use the bathroom?' Senorita Elliott nodded and I immediately jumped up and ran to the bathroom.
When I returned, I noticed Iris was at Senorita's desk again and I mentally tutted. 'That girl can't keep herself out of trouble' I thought to myself. Iris ran a hand through her brightly coloured hair. She seemed to look both irritated, but relieved at the same time, if that is possible. I took my seat again and began to add more detail into my final essay draft. Our GCSE exams are next month, and I need to make sure I am going to ace everything!
After a long period of half the class panicking over their final essay drafts, the bell rang for second class.
"Miss Sheahan, may I speak to you?" I turned to look at my teacher, nodding, and then looking at Iris, who smirked at me. "So, Miss Neilson needs some extra help with her final essay, due in two weeks." I knew what was coming instantly and prepared myself for what I was going to say. "You are the best performing student in this class, so I would like to know if you could tutor Miss Neilson and help her ace her Spanish GCSE's."
"Of course Senorita." I agreed, and stuck my hand out to Iris. "I'm Wendy Sheahan."
"Iris Neilson." She took my hand and shook it, still slightly smirking.
'I can do this' I thought to myself. She can't be too hard to tutor.
