Vallabhi is a prosperous kingdom. It doesn't have many wars it's a kingdom who tries to have alliance with their kingdom. The less war happened due to the present person who take care of kingdom untill the future king sit on the throne.
The throne belongs to the crown prince Yuvanashav. His father died before he was even born due to poor health conditions. His mother was five months pregnant with him at that time.
His grandfather already have left for the the forest to gain enlightenment. His mother stood as the pillar of hope for vallabhi.
She used her own court room the time she was the acting king of vallabhi. The all minister were used to seeing the queen making decisions while she was feeding, playing or bathing the prince. It was a common scene in the palace.
He have very strong bond with his mother. He tries to always please his mother. So she will praise him. She will praise him if he studies. So she asks him stop playing he immediately stops playing just to please her.
As prince started to grow up he started to learn archery, martial arts, swordmanship, war tactics etc. He started to grow from a child into handsome young man.
When the prince turned sixteen, the queen Shilavati started have dreams of ancestors to marry Yuvanashav fast. So they can get chance to rebirth. She tried to delay it butshe wasn't able to delay for a long time.
At the age of seventeen he married the princess Simantini. He impressed her sitting on elephant adorned with gold and silver and their grand entry. He gifted her a chausar.
His mother asked him why he gifted her that so he explained that the princess doesn't lack jewellery or any ornaments they need care, respect and to have equal life partner.
The princess Simantini was married to prince of vallabhi in grand manner. They started to live there life happily. After five years of marriage and so many tries there weren't able to have child of their own not even once child resided in her womb.
The ancestors again started to come into her dream to her son have child soon. Now even the minister and people of palace started to talk things. So for the respect of their family. She decided to let her son marry again.
Yuvanashav was gentleman like her husband presanjit who always treated her as partner in equal not less. So Yuvanashav first asked for the permission from his wife. He clearly told her if she doesn't want he will not marry at all.
Simantini looked at the chausar on wall she have placed. The caushar have four players game. So she always prayed ed God let it be them and their two child but god have some other plans.
She gave permission to marry other wife after careful consideration. Yuvanashav married his second wife Pulomi who is also a princess but it was like a buisness deal.
Her needed 100 cows and horses for their kingdom so he purposed the marriage in exchange of cows and horses. They had wedding ceremony in vallabhi.
They all lived in harmony. The Simantini didn't want to give up the throne. So first she used his wedding as excuse than the child. She didn't want to give up the throne just yet. She contacted a doctor who was Matanga and Asanga. So they can have child. He visited his wives after their period when fertility is easier.
They are many medicines but it was no use. They were not able to have child.
On other side the minister in court questioned queens intention about giving throne to right ful owner. After this kind of long heated argument. Since doesn't have any more excuses. She crowned Yuvanashav as the king.
The king always visited his mother in morning as always since he was child. He never changed his routine. He started to handle the affairs of kingdom.
After eight years of marriage with two wives he had no child. So he had to get married again due to pressure of having child. This he didn't married a princess but a Potter's Daughter named Keshini.
This marriage wasn't a grand ceremony as for princess but it still was grand. Everyone in village envied her luck to able to get married to king.
She was really talkative. She made Yuvanashav so sleepy on first night of their wedding that she thought he was dead because he was not waking up even after shouting.
Simantini and Pulomi laughedat her innocence after knowing the reason of sleep coma of the king. They all become good friends.
Even after Thirteen years of marriage of Yuvanashav. He wasn't able to have child. The doctor said he is fertile but he was still not able to have any child.
They tried many ways to have children but none was successful but his love for his wives never got less. Even though there were a bit clash in ego of rajmata Shilavati but because of Yuvanashav always giving respect she deserve. There relationship remained stable.

The cover picture from my point of view and the story i have heard before reading this book shows that king gave birth and Indra dev gave him milk from his finger. Since king was not a women he was not able to produce milk. So the king's son mandhata grew in thirteen days. He grew up to be a one of kind powerful warrior because he was nutured by a dev.
