Quite gruesome depictions of gore warning-------------------------------------I knew I'd catch his eye. He's very prone to staring when something interests him. I could see that did upset Blue. It was actually, quite evident it did. I felt bad. I suppose. I apologised later... I think. Wow. My memory is bad. Well, later on I got wind of an attack from the Stars. Dust wasn't in. So I had to defend the forest. My least favourite area to defend but I was easily the best at it. But you win some you lose some. After a while though, multiple hours actually, I honestly believed it to be a hoax. Nothing was happening. But because I wasn't at the front station like I normally was, I couldn't really tell.

After another 10 minutes I tried to contact Boss, but the location of the forest and the fact its near to Boss' castle. It does weird things to the signal, so I couldn't get through to him. I couldn't risk letting my guard down for even a second. I already had scrapes and burns all over me from yesterdays fight. But still, as I waited. I got increasingly confused. Where was Dust? Normally he'd turn up half way through and take this spot, I'd go back to my normal spot. But, where was he?

I took shelter in a tree. It's likely I'll be out until the early hours of the morning. The tree I was in was enormous and sturdy, I could see in all directions without being seen. It also had some unique looking apples. Most were red and green, but a single black and gold apple stuck out to me. I picked them both, my plan being to show Boss after we got back. I was hoping to get a signal from the tree but nevertheless I could not.

Left. Right. Behind. Forward. Up. Down. Those 6 motions over and over again drive you crazy. But I had to. I didn't have back up either side of me like I normally do with the guards at the front. They do rarely help, but have helped only done it twice in possibly thousands of attacks. I was a good fighter when dizzy, none of the others were. I mean back in my AU I was high whenever I got the chance, I can fight when dizzy. Unlike Dust or Killer, who need stability to perform well. My thoughts were cut short quickly.

I heard footsteps, crinkled leaves being stomped on and crushed by whatever lay its feet on it. In this case. The Stars. I immediately got ready, axe in one hand, other hand holding a branch. I was very good in trees. However I didn't move immediately.

"Dust said he'd be here." Ink spoke. What? Why is Dust communicating with them.

"He probably is, he'll be in some tree or something." Swap spoke up. I regret apologising to that thing, if I even did apologise. Sorry I catch his eye more than you.

I was hidden enough to where they couldn't see me. However they started to check trees individually. It was fine, I just had to hope Swap came to get me first. And to my luck, he did. I pushed him down, sending a single magical axe down with him to fall on him, slicing his left leg horribly. I couldn't stay hidden forever however, so I had to get out. I started to move from tree to tree, throwing numerous axes at them, hitting a few but they were large and bulky throwing axes. I wasn't expecting all three to be here.

They started to attack the branches, forcing me to fall to the floor. I was quick sure, but against 3 relentless attackers, I could only hold them off for so much. I went back to some farther away trees, latching onto them, but I had a weak grip, so as one of Swap's bones flew past it, I fell, landing face first. My left eye being penetrated by a sharp stone, cutting and destroying my only source of vision. Blood poured down my face in big thick blobs, however. I kept fighting.

I couldn't just admit defeat, standing up. I attacked Blue, knocking him down with relative ease. I was extremely well akin to a dark environment. Blindness was a hinderance, but in a battle? No. I had learnt these woods like the back of my hand. I knew the layout perfectly. Dream and Ink wouldn't step away from each other though. That was part of my plan to weaken them. I tried to separate them with bones which worked temporarily, I started to act my plan into motion when-. An arrow, similar to that of Undyne's spears, shot straight through my skull and out the back. My eye sockets were now connected.

I was even able to hear Ink wince at that. My hearing was fuzzy, but I was able to stand and hear them mumble about something how that was 'too much'. Yeah... too late now though. I was weak and barely able to stand, but I continued. Shooting bones and axes in their directions. Slicing Swap's leg off where I had injured it before, then temporarily disabling Dreams bow by slicing that with an axe throw. One thing I didn't account for, was a fourth person.

Shortly after I disabled Swap, a new person joined. I could recognise the sound of the magic, footsteps and so on. Dust. However the attacks he threw were coming towards me. I knew it was him, I was hoping he just missed. I was hoping he was just being stupid. I was hoping. But hope can only get you so far. Immediately I was hearing Ink and Dream communicate with Dust, telling him to do certain things to me. My worries were answered.

I continued, managing to damage them all quite badly. Dream had about 4 or 5 disabled bows, Ink had a baker's dozen cuts and slashes across him and Dust had never been beaten up so badly since he was an Undertale Sans. However 4v1 - now 3v1 - was still too much. Eventually I was pinned to a tree with multiple bones and a few arrows. I pulled myself off, not caring how tattered my jacket looked. I was cornered, sort of. I could climb up the tree's but I hadn't memorised branch placement.

I summoned multiple axes behind me, ready to attack if they tried to. "I see a traitor." I spoke, staring at Dust. Could I see him? No. But I knew it was him I was looking at. I shrugged, feeling my mind grow more and more drowsy. I heard Swap hobble over, managing to have put his leg back together seemingly. I could assume by the sound made. "It's whatever. Fool me once shame on me. Fool me twice..."

With my last remaining energy, I spent it all on attacking Dust. Axes, bones and a few blasters. Fuelled with adrenaline I was able to keep going for a while, bashing him into trees, stabbing his body and slicing every limb on him at least 4 times. I slowly began to phase in and out of consciousness. My last attack and words. "Rot." An axe flew at his head, narrowly missing it, but it sliced clean through his shoulder.

The woods became a bloody mess. Almost every tree in a specific direction had a remnant of a battle. 1v4 and 1v3. I was unconscious by this point. However I still doubted myself. I could have attacked differently and used different moves. I would've been able to beat Dust and focus myself on Ink and Dream. I would've been able to win... by myself.

Dust kept me sane at times. Sure Boss was fantastic but sometimes it felt like he didn't want to help. I don't blame him, poor guy probably has messes of his own and he's always stuck dealing with our messes.

My life in Dust's arms. And he dropped it. A flatline. A rescue. A bribery. A miracle.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was alive. Somehow. I didn't know, nor expect to live. I was quite content with dying, having faced all that, and suffered horrific injuries. I was blind. I was able to be fitted with a magic eye which restored around 10% of my vision. I would be considered blind by anyone. I was barely able to make out shapes so I could tell if someone or something was in front of me in a place I don't know. I was fine. I could live with being blind. I sure had some stories to tell though.
Regardless, when I woke up I heard. Beeping. Lots of it. I had already been fitted with the eye so I was able to look. Around me were a few machines, and a few people. Boss and Fell to be specific. Both were incredibly shocked to see me alive. Fell immediately got up, right to my side. "Wellll, heyyyy~" Of course. "Hehheh- no but. We're shocked. What... happened. We found you in the forest, it looked like a bloody mess in there. Did you fight someone or-?"
Boss jumped in, stopping me from speaking. "He's still weak Fell, how could be so unwise to suggest he speak at such a critical point." Fell looked guilty, apologising. I made a signal for some kind of pen and paper. I was weak, but my hands and arms had remained mostly in tact with a few bruises. My neck and chest however suffered a lot.
I managed to write down everything, from the phone call to the betrayal. Boss didn't believe it, however he did have some old cameras he forgot about, which confirmed everything I said. From losing my vision and still fighting, to bringing Dust within an inch of his life. "Wow... you... I don't normally praise you all like this but... I wouldn't have been able to keep fighting." Boss spoke.
Fell agreed, shocked I had such endurance. I had never seen Boss look so... apologetic? He seemed like he blamed himself for what happened. I was content though, attempting to get up before I essentially had to be gently pinned down by them both. Soon a few more arrived, both Boss and Fell leaving so I wasn't overwhelmed.
Boss, Fell, Killer, Cross, Error and... Classic. That was odd. I had never met him before, obviously I was once a Classic but I was always destined to become who I am. So it was weird. I managed to sit myself up, tied to loads of things. All I wanted to do was go to attack Dust. Yet I was held back. I remember something Classic said. He mentioned how... he knew Dust. Something timeline related, and that through his ability to judge another, could tell all he was feeling was guilt.
I suppose that helped me feel better. However it wouldn't change one thing.
My one goal is to go for Dust each and every time there's a battle. Because to me, I won't feel good enough if I don't. I should have been able to beat them all surely. Looks like I need more training.
Well, as soon as I'm done with all this healing, I'll be back on it.
