                                                                                          Y/N pov:

The day after the incident with Carlos, I was sitting with Audrey, not sure why, but anyway, I was sitting with Audrey watching Ben doing Tourney practice. Jay and Carlos also somehow got onto the team, and I heard rumours that they were really good.

"Those kids are trouble." Audrey groaned, taking yet another photo of Ben.

"I don't know." I shrugged. "Maybe there not so bad."

"Seriously?" She scoffed, taking one last photo of Ben before fully looking at me. "Are you insane? They're mean! They're awful! They're bad news! Snap out of it!"

"Thanks, Audrey." I sighed. "I needed that."

She rolled her eyes. "No problem?"

Dude then ran over to me, jumping up and down for treats. "Okay, okay!" I chuckled, grabbing my bag. "Lets see what I got...hmm...ah, how about this?" I grinned, letting him eat a few biscuits off of my hand. Then, he started bolting down onto the field. "Dude, wait no! Your not allowed down there!" I shouted, running after him.

He ran onto the Tourney field and Carlos screamed so loudly when he saw him, I think my ears nearly exploded. Dude chased Carlos into the woods, as I closely followed behind. I ran into the woods and saw Carlos half way up a tree and Dude barking at him. "Carlos!" I panted.

"Y/N? Y/N?" He screamed. "Y/N help me, this thing is a killer! He's gonna chase me down and rip out my throat. This is a vicious, rabid pack animal!" He yelled, pointing at Dude.

I bent down and picked Dude up. "Hey, who told you that?"

"My mother." Carlos said.

"Cruella?" I chuckled.

"She's a dog expert. A dog yellerer." He scoffed. "Why are you holding him? He's gonna attack you!"

I slightly giggled and looked up at Carlos, who was hugging the tree. "Carlos, you've never actually met a dog, have you?"

"Of course not!" He snapped.

"Dude, meet Carlos." I smiled, scratching Dudes neck. "Carlos, this is dude. He's the campus mutt."

"He doesn't look like a vicious, rabid pack animal." Carlos sighed, slowly coming down from the tree. "Jeez. You're a good boy, aren't you?" He grinned, taking Dude from me. "You're a good boy."

"I guess you guys have it pretty rough on the island." I frowned, patting Dudes head.

"Yeah." Carlos nodded. "Let's just say we don't get a lot of belly rubs."

"Hey, uh, about yesterday..." I began as Carlos glanced up at me. "I just wanted to apologise on Chads behalf he's uh, a little, judgy."

Carlos chuckled. "It's cool...I'm kind of used to it."

"Right." I giggled. "Hey, so why don't I leave you two to get to know each other, and we can potentially, maybe hang out later?" I suggested.

"Sure." He smirked. "Where though?"

I thought for a moment. "How about the Villain safe room? That's private enough."

"Cool, see you at 4?" He asked.

"See you at 4." I smiled, walking away, back to where Audrey was sitting.

She looked me up and down. "Where did you go? And where's that ratty, little dog?"

"Somewhere." I shrugged, getting back to studying as Audrey rolled her eyes and started taking pictures of Ben.

"Hey, I heard her wand is in some boring museum. Do they always leave it there?" I suddenly heard someone ask from under the bleachers. I looked down and saw Chad and Evie talking.

Chad somehow convinced Evie to do his homework so they could "hang" which I knew was a complete lie. When he was out of sight, I jumped down from the bleachers and walked towards Evie. "How come your so interested in Fairy Godmothers wand?" I asked. "First Mal, now you?"

"Oh, uhm, me and Mal just really like how it, how did she put it, sparkles." Evie grinned.

"Well..." I sighed. "That seems...reasonable. If you want to see it up close, they use it in Ben's coronation."

"They do?" Evie gasped.

"Mhm." I nodded.

Evie smirked. "Wow, that's amazing! I'd love to stay and chat, but you know..." She chuckled before running off.

"Hm, that was...odd?" I sighed walking back over to Audrey.

At 4 o'clock, I started walking towards the Villain safe room and spotted Carlos staring at some random painting, still holding Dude. "I was hoping you'd come." I smirked standing next to him.

He glanced down at me and smiled. "Hey."

"So, did you have a good time with Dude?" I asked, as he set him on the ground.

"Amazing, I can't believe my whole entire life I believed my moms lies about them being vicious creatures." He chuckled. Suddenly, we heard some people coming up the stairs and Carlos quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me into the Villain safe room, locking it behind him.

"This is more like it." He smirked, setting his bag down. "So what did you want to talk about?"

"Well, I guess I kind of want to know more about you. Are you exactly like your mother or..." I trailed off, wanting him to finish.

"Well, I'm 16. I'm an only child. And I've only ever lived in one place." He shrugged with a small smile.

"Me, too. We have so much in common already!" I laughed.

"No. Trust me, we do not." He chuckled. "Wonder what my mom would say if she knew I was talking to a Radcliffe."

I smiled up at him and gave him a little nudge. "My parents would flip if they knew I was talking to a De Vil."

"Hey," He smirked. "Maybe this could be normal someday."

"Someday." I sighed. "Do you do this often on the Isle?"
