                                                                                          Y/N pov:

It was the day of the big Tourney game and I was talking to Ben by the lockers. "So, do ya think your gonna win?" I asked, sipping a lemonade.

He shrugged. "Hopefully. Now that we have Jay and Carlos on the team I think we have better luck."

"Right." I smiled, thinking of Carlos.

"Have you recently talked to Carlos?" He smirked teasingly, wiggling his eyebrows.

"He got my number, and we talked pretty much the whole night." I grinned.

"Did Audrey notice?" He chuckled, remembering Audrey was my roommate.

I laughed. "Her mom's sleeping beauty, of course not!"

"Hey benny-boo!" Someone behind us said, mocking Audrey's voice. We turned around and saw Mal smiling at us, with a cookie in her hand.

"Hey." Ben politely smiled at her.

"I just made a batch of cookies. Double chocolate chip, do you want one?" She offered.

I quickly nodded. I loved cookies. "Sure, I'd-"

"Not you." Mal snapped, while staring at Ben.

Ben nervously chuckled. "Ben doesn't eat before big games." I told Mal.

"Hey, no, it's cool." Ben smiled, taking the cookie and biting into it. I crossed my arms and leaned on the lockers while chuckling. Not my problem if he starts throwing it up on the field.

"How are they?" Mal asked. I noticed, Evie, Jay and Carlos were slowly approaching from behind her.

"They're good. They're great! They're amazing!" Ben beamed. "They're, uh... I mean, they're chewy and, and you know, they... is that walnuts? I love walnuts. I mean, uh, you know, the... The chocolate... The... the chocolate... The chocolate chips are... I'm sorry. Um... Uh, they're... They're warm and soft. And they're sweet... Mal, have you always had those little golden flecks in your eyes?" He asked.

I shot him a confused look. "What?" I mouthed to myself.

"How you feeling, bro?" Jay smirked.

"I feel... I feel... I feel like... Like singing your name. Mal, Mal." He sung as I quickly put a hand around his mouth.

"Heh, uh, Ben we should get going to the game, you all should as well. See ya." I nervously chuckled, pulling him away. "That was so weird! What's gotten into you?" I snapped at him.

"I just realized how...how pretty Mal is!" He gasped.

"You have a girlfriend!" I scoffed.

Ben nudged me. "You don't even like Audrey."

"She's still your girlfriend!" I hissed.

"Whatever, lets just get to the game." He laughed.

"Fine." I groaned.

We were half-way through the game and it was a tie. The cheer squad were cheering loudly, and Audrey turned to me groaning. "UGH, it's all Carlos and Jays fault we're loosing! They have little to no team chemistry!" She whined waving her pom-poms around.

"First of all, we're not loosing its a tie, second of all, they're the reason we even have any points!" I scoffed at her. She shot me a glare but we just got back to cheering.

"When they break from their huddles, this is gonna be a big moment here!" The commentator continues. "And the tipoff is ready. Here we go. Long pass goes to Jay. Jay dishes off to prince Ben. Nice little block by Carlos. He does a little dancing jig in his opponent's face. And now Jay gets the ball back. Here comes Jay! Jay, hurdling maneuver at mid-field. Jay makes a nice pass to Prince Ben through the kill zone. Big block by Chad! Prince Ben moves over wide, gives it back to Jay. He's in the clear! Shot!" The commentator said, as the goal keeper unfortunately saved the goal. "Oh, what a save by Philip the Faalcons' goalkeeper!"
