Would you live your days as if it were your last or your first?

You tell me to live each day

As if life was simply as light as a feather,

Unburdened with the strong weight of worry

Yet with every passing hour,

The darkness of my worries overtake me

With soft whispers of reminders,

I'm reminded to breathe.

Breathe. Breathe. Breathe.

And as the world spins and the sands of time slips through my fingers

I frantically try to take grasp of the moment

With sweet hushes of heavy-hearted promises

I oath to myself to endure with intention

To live as if every sunrise was my last

And as my beaded eyes meet with the moon's gentle glow

My soul finds solace in the simple act of being.
