I look down the street and then up but there is still no sign of him. As I am just about to walk back into the dance I get a phone call. I read the screen it says 911. I look down in confusion as I answer the phone call. "Hello is everything alright?" I ask worried. "I am afraid not your dad has been in a terrible accident and is at the hospital now your mom will be there soon to pick you up" She says as she hangs up. I look down in horror as a tear begins to fall down my face. I think over and over in my head. This is all my fault. It has been over a half hour before I see a car driving down the road and coming to a stop. I look in and see my mom with her head down. I climb in. "Are you ok mom?" I ask quietley. "Yes dear I am" she replies softly. I feel a tear going down my cheek but I quickly wipe it away. We start driving towards the hospital we didnt even talk. Except when I opened my mouth and asked her a question. My mom looked so scared as I looked in her direction. "Mom is dad going to..." I say before being cutoff. "I DONT KNOW OK.." she yells before crying. I look in horror as she yelled at me. I never seen my mom cry before its sad. I didnt know what to do so I just sat there quitely and waited we were almost at the hospital when I thought about my little sister. I quickly put my hand over my mouth as I said. "Mom what about charlie" I screamed. She replied " I don't know we will have to tell her sooner or later" she said calmly but you could tell she was scared. I turned to the window and cryed silently. We are almost there it will be fine. I thought to myself.
