Chapter 10: Schedule Change

Third Pov:

It's been hours now since Harry and Hermione started dating. After they had taken a nap the two talked about plans for the summer. Hermione wanted Harry to stay with her and her family sometime during the summer for a week or two. Harry had tried to argue saying he didn't wish to impose but Hermione got him to cave by reminding him that he spent a few weeks at the Weasley's house for a month and all she was asking for was about a week or two. In the end, Harry agreed that if Hermione's parents had agreed he would spend a week or two during the summer with her family. though Harry doubted that her parents would agree to allow their only daughter's boyfriend at their house. Harry told Hermione such he even got her to laugh when Harry joked about how he could imagine her father now starting to make a homemade dog house in the backyard the minute he heard she had a boyfriend and how he had no doubt in his mind that he purposely have it leak in the roof. Hermione had assured him they would no doubt agree and she promised him that she would not let her dad do that. However, if on some off chance, they didn't then she made him promise to write every day which he agreed to without hesitation since Dobby could deliver their letters without worrying about interception. Though Harry knew he would have to make it up to Hedwig since she loves delivering mail for him Harry would be sure to make it up to her by having her deliver some of the fan mail along responses along with his house elves this summer. Harry also told Hermione she should go to Gringottes to get an inheritance test done this summer like he was doing. 

After talking a bit Hermione finally wrote her letter to her parents sending it off with an all too willing Dobby so they get it faster and there be no chance of interception. After sending the letter off with Dobby Harry left the hospital wing to go talk to McGonagall and get the notes he made for Hermione from his dorm. Right now Harry walks the corridors heading to speak with his head of house. Harry walks to his destination whistling happily. At this moment Harry was happy feeling as though he was on cloud 9. Harry was happy because he now had his best friend back awake and was now even dating her. He was so happy that he did not even think Malfoy, Ronald, Ginevra, Lockhart, Dumbledore, or Snape could ruin his mood at the moment if he came across their path. It took Harry 35 minutes to walk to his destination without using shortcuts. Harry could have used shortcuts but he wanted to take his time as he decided if he wanted to keep playing quidditch or not. It was one of the things he discussed with Hermione since nearly every time he plays he always hurt in some way. Hermione had said though she never understood why she knew how Harry loved the game and she would continue to support him if he wanted to continue to play the game as she saw how much he loved playing and how free he seemed.

Harry wouldn't deny it when he was up there on his broom it felt amazing he felt free like all the worries were gone and stuff he had to deal with didn't matter at all. In the end, Harry knows that he can't give up on quidditch it is the only time he lets the real him out fully which he plans to do anyway now but also it is the only time he feels no stress, is completely free, and able to forget his problems. By the time Harry reached his destination Harry already made up his mind that no matter what he couldn't quit Quidditch. Harry stands outside the door of his head of house's office and knocks on the door. He heard the familiar Scottish voice of his teacher call outcome in. Harry opens the door and speaks not with the attitude of a bumbling fool like he used to but instead, he speaks like a proud member of a lion's pride. Since seeing through the dark lord's and his ancestor's memories along with many of his own forgotten ones Harry had gone through many changes not that he notices one change being how he now walks with more grace and confidence instead of laziness and a slouch. Mixing that with his true personality let out he was a completely different person.
