Chapter 12: No Matter What

Third Pov:

When Hermione saw the doors to the Hospital Wing open she was expecting her boyfriend to be the one coming through. However, the last thing she expected was that Ronald Weasley, to come through the door since he rarely even visits Harry when he is in the Hospital Wing unless she dragged him to come along. She especially didn't expect to see him come into the Hospital Wing in the state he was in. He had a black eye, a possible broken jaw, his nose almost seemed flattened, and his face swollen. When he passed her bed, Hermione then noticed the dried blood on his robes. Hermione wanted to know what happened to him he looked as if he was beaten up by Malfoy's goons Crabbe and Goyle. Hermione was about to ask him what happened when the door opened again and this time Hermione looked up again expecting her boyfriend possibly looking just as beat up since she knew that the two weren't on good terms at the moment but she didn't know that it was Harry who had caused the injuries to Ron.

This time she was shocked to see two of her fellow Gryffindors Dean and Seamus walk into the Wing. Both of them surprised her by looking at the battered carcass known as Ronald Weasley with a glare before to her surprise walking over to her bed and standing there almost protectively. This confused Hermione since she never really ever talked with Seamus or Dean but knows that a slight bond had been formed with them and her new boyfriend she was not sure if it was quite yet friendship yet but she knew that these two were at least considered acquaintances to her boyfriend. However, she always thought the two were friends with Ron even if they were not as close to him as Harry and her were they were still friends so it confused her why they glared at him or why they were now standing by her bed as if they were bodyguards protecting someone important. Her curiosity getting the better of her Hermione decided to ask the two Gryffindors what going on and what had happened to Ron.

Hermione-"Um guys what happened to Ron and why are you here guarding me like you're my bodyguards."

Dean-"For the first question I think it best that Harry explains it to you Hermione *He remains at his post as if he were a loyal soldier ordered to do so* However, I will give you a cliff note version Ron had called you practice and Harry became the hurricane that we all know and fear but only seen one other time when an older Slytherin boy was stupid enough to insult you not long after you were attacked and Harry was running on 36 hours no sleep."

Hermione-'Oh no how could Ron be so stupid to insult me in front of Harry's face? Just because it takes a bit for Harry to let loose his anger doesn't mean he can't get angry he is just better at hiding it not to mention he bottles stuff up so when he does get mad he gets mad.'

At this time the door opens again this time though both do so with much force. Hermione turns to see the doors fly open with such force that it makes a loud boom, this time the familiar figure of her boyfriend enters. His emerald eyes were still filled with a bit of rage and glowing with power. When he saw the two Gryffindors standing at his Girlfriends bed even if Harry had offered the two friendship he was still on edge from how Ron reacted the two have not been known long enough to earn his trust which is quite hard not even Ron or Hermione had had his full trust earned. Though Harry did trust Hemione a lot more than he ever did Ronald which was why he had opened up to her so much even if it was while she was petrified as at the time he believed it was the practice to tell her some of everything he found out not to mention been through. Though like with Bill who he had met a bit of last summer, Charlie who he had been writing to every so often since he met him back in first year, and the twins even though he opened up a lot. However, he never tells them everything as he keeps a lot of things close to the vest. Hermione instantly noticed Harry's hair was almost literally standing on end more than usual with raw magic being exuded as he walked towards her. Hermione mentally cursed Ron for being a stupid idiot for insulting her in Harry's presence or within earshot.
