"Lapis... Do I seriously have to be blindfolded for this?"
"Yes." The ocean gem replied, smirking as she felt the figure behind her stumble. It was amusing, to say the least. "I'm taking you to a surprise, it won't be a surprise if you can see where we're going."
"No, but it would be a lot simpl-er." She stuttered, tripping over more objects.
"You're the one who wouldn't let me help lead you..." Lapis puffed, rolling her eyes.
"I will not be subjected to that..." Peridot retaliated, "And are we almost there... I have work that needs to get done..." "Calm down... You work all the time." She muttered, stepping behind the gem. "And we're here, just hold still so I can take this thing off...." Peridot blinked once the cloth was removed, looking around. It was a beautiful, serene field. Filled with flowers of all colors. The sun setting in the distance made the sky catch fire, lighting up the atmosphere in a pale orange light.
"Do you like it?" Lapis grinned, wrapping her arms around the space gem from behind. Earning a faint green blush. "I- ... you made me miss work for this?!" She grumbled, glancing back.
"Duh... Sit down. You need to relax, you've been super tense the last few days...." The green gem rolled her eyes, hesitantly obliging. Immediately blushing harder as a pink flower crown was placed on her head. "Ah... Wh-what are you doing?"
"Steven showed me this." Lapis giggled, putting one on herself. "See! Now you look cute, aaaannnnnddd we're matching."
"I-I guess..." Peridot stumbled, bringing her knees to her chest. Glancing down flusteredly as she watched the ocean gem lean against her.
"Hey Peri..." The bluenette started, glancing up at her.
"Y-yea?"
"You're a dork." She giggled
"Love you too..."
