~AMILY CHARLOTTE ASTON~

On Finals ~

As we drove, the streets grew increasingly crowded, with fans clad in jerseys and face paint streaming towards the court.

Finally, we arrived at the court, the bright lights and bustling energy of the court enveloping us like a tidal wave.

I found a parking spot and we both climbed out, our feet carrying us towards the entrance as if drawn by an invisible force.

As we stepped inside, I was taken aback by the sheer number of girls who seemed to be there for one reason alone: to swoon over the handsome players on the court.

They giggled and whispered to each other; their eyes fixed on the basketball team as they warmed up. Some were even holding up signs with cute messages and player numbers, their enthusiasm bordering on fanaticism.

I exchanged an amused glance with Lara, who raised an eyebrow and whispered, "Looks like we're not the only ones here to support!" I chuckled, feeling a mix of amusement and annoyance at the spectacle.

But as we made our way to our seats, I couldn't help but notice the infectious energy of the crowd, and even the swooning girls added to the electric atmosphere of the court.

Just as we were navigating through the sea of fans, Ethan's voice pierced the din, his eyes locked onto mine as he screamed my name 'Amy! Amy!' He was pointing wildly to the empty seats beside him in the front row, his face alight with excitement.

I felt a surge of surprise and delight at the unexpected summons, and Lara nudged me forward, grinning "Guess you've got a VIP invitation!" she teased.

I laughed and made my way towards Ethan, the crowd parting as we passed through to reach the front row.

Ethan high-fived me as I sat down, his eyes shining with enthusiasm. "Amy, I saved you the best seats! We're going to be right on top of the action!" I grinned back at him, feeling like a total rockstar with my new prime viewing spot.

As I settled into the seat beside Ethan, my gaze automatically drifted to the court, where the players were huddled in a tight circle, discussing their strategy.

That's when I saw him - Atlas, the star player, standing tall and confident, his chiselled features and piercing blue eyes making my heart skip a beat.

He was saying something to his teammates, his expression intense and focused, and they were all nodding in agreement. I couldn't help but notice the way his dark hair curled slightly, or the way his muscles flexed as he gestured with his hands.

Ethan followed my gaze and chuckled, nudging me playfully. "Ah, I see you've spotted the main attraction", he whispered, his voice dripping with amusement.

I felt my cheeks flush, but couldn't tear my eyes away from Atlas, who was now leading his team onto the court with a fierce determination etched on his face.

As I scanned the crowd, my eyes landed on a sea of colourful signs and boards, all bearing the same name: Atlas.

Groups of girls, ranging from enthusiastic teenagers to swooning young women, held up their handmade creations, each one more creative than the last. Some had added hearts, stars, and even hand- drawn portraits of the basketball star, while others had opted for bold, glittery letters that seemed to dance in the light.
