~AMILY CHARLOTTE ASTON~

At Evening ~

I  returned home from college, I was surprised to see my brother Nick busily packing his bags. He caught my eye and said, "Hey Amy, get ready soon and pack all your stuff. We need to leave for the hills tonight".

I was taken aback and asked, "Aren't we leaving tomorrow?" Nick just smiled mischievously and said, "No, we made some changes in the plan" He winked at me, leaving me curious and a bit confused.

Just then, my mom emerged from the kitchen and said, "Yes, Amy, go pack your things and join your brother" Her words confirmed Nick's surprise announcement, and I couldn't help but wonder what had prompted the sudden change in plans.

I rushed to my room and quickly dialed Lara's number. "I'm already ready" she said, her voice filled with excitement.

I swiftly packed my bag with everything I thought I'd need, and just as I was finishing up, Nick burst into my room. "Don't forget your swimsuit!" he reminded me with a grin "We're going to have a blast!".

I grabbed a few more essentials and tossed them into my bag, trying to think of anything else I might need. Finally, I took a deep breath, freshened up, and got dressed. With a sense of anticipation, I headed downstairs to join the others.

As I bid goodbye to Mom, Nick was already loading our belongings into the car. I settled into the passenger seat, and just as Nick was about to start the engine, the back door swung open and Ethan hopped in.

I turned around to see him grinning at me. "Didn't expect me, did you?" he teased "Don't worry, I'll keep you company" he said.

I nodded and smiled, feeling a sense of relief at having him along for the ride.

Nick pulled up in his car and picked Lara up from her house. She loaded her belongings into the trunk, and Ethan and I swapped seats.

As Lara settled in beside me, we eagerly began discussing our upcoming night travel plans.

Meanwhile, Ethan took the passenger seat alongside Nick, who expertly guided the car through the quiet streets, the soft hum of the engine and the darkness outside heightening our sense of adventure, the city lights faded into the distance.

Finally, we arrived at Lucy's home, where Atlas, Lucy, and a few other team members were already waiting for us.

As we joined them, some of the boys took our bags and stored them in the bus's luggage compartment.

The bus was luxurious, and as we approached, Lucy smiled warmly at me. "I'm so glad you're joining us," she said "I always feel like I'm the only girl surrounded by these guys, but now I have you and Lara to keep me company".

Lara and I exchanged a smile, and I replied, "We're happy to be here, Lucy. Thanks for having us".

As I glanced around, my gaze met Atlas, who had been staring at me since we arrived. He stepped closer, his eyes locked on mine, and said, "Finally, you're here. Let's get inside the bus – it's a bit cold here" I nodded, and we all boarded the bus, eager to begin our journey together.

Lara settled into the window seat, Nick made his way over to sit beside her. I left the couple alone and returned to my own seat, getting comfortable.

Just then, Ethan entered and asked me, "Do you mind if I sit next to you?" But before I could respond, a deep, husky voice from behind him spoke up, "But I'll mind."

Ethan turned to see Atlas standing there, his eyes fixed on him. Atlas then walked over to me and sat down beside me, flashing a charming smile.

He glanced at Ethan and said, "Any problem?" But Ethan didn't respond, instead choosing a different seat. Lucy then sat down beside Ethan. The other boys settled into their seats, and the atmosphere in the room became more relaxed.
