Jungwon walked down the stairs with his school bag in his hand. Upon reaching the living room, he placed his school bag on the couch and walked towards the dining room where his sister, Jungeun, was waiting for him. There were 2 plates of pancakes with a side of grapes. "3 minutes late for breakfast, Jungwon." Jungeun crossed her arms as she leaned back on her chair. Jungwon just rolled his eyes and sat down across her. "It's not easy to put on so many layers of clothes, sister."

Jungeun just rolled her eyes at her brother before taking the maple syrup bottle and pouring it onto her pancakes. She cut a slice of pancake using the fork and knife. "So, how do you feel about your first day of school in America?" Jungeun asked before putting the sliced pancake into her mouth. "It's alright. I just feel a little anxious." Jungwon answered while placing a sliced up butter onto his pancakes.

Jungeun scoffed when she heard her brother's answer. "Anxious? Seriously, what do you have to be anxious about? You're not a little child anymore." Jungwon grip tightened on his fork and knife. "Did you get scold by mother and father again?" He knew his sister was just taking her anger out of his because of their parents. Jungeun paused whatever she was doing and looked at him. "Mind your own business. Ugh, I shouldn't have agreed to mother to let you transfer to my school."

Jungeun gestured the maid to refill her glass with warm tea. "Right, like I wanted to be here. I'm alright on my own back in Korea." Jungwon rolled his eyes. The siblings just ignored each other while they continued eating their breakfast. The silence in the dining room was getting heavier.

"Why are they always fighting first thing in the morning?" One of the maid asked the other in a whispered tone. "They are on bad terms because of their parents." The other maid replied. The maids continued to whisper with each other before their conversation got cut off by a cold glare from Jungeun. The maids immediately stopped talking and looked down.

"Some people just don't know how to keep their mouth shut." Jungeun wiped the mouth with some tissue before standing up. "Finish your breakfast quickly. You don't want to be late on your first day of school."

Jungwon shot a glare at her as she walked out of the dining room. "That witch..!" Jungwon gripped tightly on his cutleries. He put them down before taking the glass of warm tea and drank it. "I hate her so much. Just why is she my sister. Why can't I just be the only child?" Jungwon mumbled to himself before placing the glass back down on the table. "I lost my appetite." Jungwon stood up. "Yes, Young master. We will start cleaning." Jungwon nodded at them before walking out of the dining room.
