16 years passed and it felt like six months for Minho.
He crossed his arms watching his own kind suck his neck where his veins pop out turning blue with his skin start getting white from how dry he becomes after so much blood sucking that result his death, their target this time was the West nation of the human kingdom 27th counts that was doing some research on fairies, the same creatures that had a truce contract with the fae king about being back to back and protecting each other.
Minho found that vampire-fairy truce a bull crap because he knows very well that their emperor was taking advantage of that to kill more humans who are curious to discover and do experiments on fairies.
Fairies weren't a weak topic either because of how powerful they are and hold the longest immortality and the ability to heal faster than anyone which allures humans to hunt them and use them for their selfish needs... but something that humans aren't aware about is how dangerous this innocent looking like creatures can be and by that I say that they are cannibal to every creature on this planet.
It is a food circle between these three regions, to eat or to be eaten, to kill or to be killed.
Minho smirked, wondering how it would be like watching their emperor getting eaten alive by a fairy, a big powerful one.
Letting the violence aside.
He shook his head as he started walking out from the counts house where the vampires that he came along with wondered why he wasn't having any of the blood with them.
"he did most of all the work by breaking in and knocking out this weakling...why isn't he joining us in dinner?"
One of the new recent vampires of the force unites had turned to his superior to ask why Minho is not joining them in sucking humans since he has never been seen to do that before just for the other vampire to cuss himself for always forgetting to tell the newbies about Minho.
"because he is a vegan vampire... Apparently, he lived with humans before and that made him eliminate the idea of sucking one"
it wasn't something to be shocked about but having a vegan vampire who hunts humans with them was quite odd, especially when he had to wash kill those creatures that he once lived with.
Minho:"tell the Lord that I'm going somewhere"
The companion just nodded his head and gave Him permission to go because Minho is known to explore outside their territory and empire.
He was the Lord's favourite since the day Minho had killed those two vampires with his bare hands at the age of 12 and it rumoured that he would be the next emperor but in other way, Minho had already refused the position not pleased with the throne and all he wanted was freedom and being able to live a simple life.
He believes in love and wants to meet a beautiful human that could be by his side keeping his secrets and embracing him whenever he feels down on himself.
Minho doesn't want to live on sucking other people's or letting his blood get sucked since he learned that it is one of the ways vampires do during making love with each other.
But he refused to follow the vampire system, he would learn to live like a human since that's what he wanted all these years.
The way he crossed the haunted ghost forest made him thirsty for blood which is something he becomes to despise whenever he feels it so he brought his blood bottles that were filled with different species of animals blood and picked one to drink it to satisfy his thrust.
A long journey he took for hours just to reach his destination which was the church orphanage he usually likes to be at, the area belongs to the human kingdom where it was a small village in the mountains.
The nun was so happy to see Minho again despite being different in regions and how humans saw vampires as monsters and vice versa but the nun was a half elf and believed that Minho won't snitch on them.
They knew each other for quite some time and Minho found himself attracted to the young nun that runs the whole building by herself.
Maybe this was destiny and this person was meant to be with him.
The idea of having a partner just excited Minho from the inside out and he couldn't but be happy to feel that.
Minho:"I came and brought a lot of ingredients with me to cook something for the kids, I hope you don't mind me staying here for a few days?"
The nun collide her hands and blush a little not getting over how Minho is a gentleman despite him being a blood sucker but she didn't care about his origins since what all matters is his personality.
Nun:"don't worry Minho, it's fine... I bet the kids would love having you around, they got used to you by now"
He smiled, a red hue Seeking over his cheeks to become rosy upon seeing Valeria (that's her name) smiling and saying how the kids like him and finds him cool while being a vampire.
Later on, the vampire found himself adjusted into sharing a bed with the kids and telling them stories from the numerous books he had read since he likes reading so much about history and ancient warriors.
It has been three days since he had stayed with the humans that Valeria requested him to go to the forest nearby and pick up some herbs for an orphan who caught the flu and he was onto doing that for her and the kid.
He heard of the fairy forest that connects the human kingdom and the fae kingdom together but never actually thought it would be scary and massive, so many humans took the adventurous opportunity to explore the fairy forest to be able to go through it and find the fae kingdom but none of them came alive since it was dangerous and tricky and heard that the new guardian of the forest is unstoppable when no one can pass him.
Minho:"I hope he doesn't mind me picking up those herbs"
In the process of snatching the herbs from the ground, far away on a thousand year tree was standing a beautiful man with black hair accompanied with three fairies that flew around him complaining how the vampire caught his attention while doing his daily task in the forest where he should not be distracted so the Guardian ignored him and returned back to the forest not seeing Minho as a threat.
