The next day was something unexpected.
He woke on the same bed again to question his existence in this place then he got reminded of yesterday's events where he got rescued by jisung twice and the vampire is more grateful for the fairy man.
He looked beside him, at the lamp table there was a small glass bottle which consisted of a red liquid and by the opacity Minho was able to tell that was a bunny blood-his favorite.
He doesn't usually drink blood the first thing he wakes up but seeing how caring Jisung to actually respect him being vegan and leaving this bottle for him is just what gratitude shows from him.
He stands up from the bed and starts walking outside the room towards the fireplace area where he looks around not finding Jisung.
A fairy had approached him and her color was blue with long hair and wearing a shirt and pants unlike Remy whose hair is short and wears a dress.
Yuna:"forest keeper Jisung isn't here, he's out for a hunt"
She spoke in her language but Minho didn't understand her and that made him sad that he was unable to start a conversation with the unfamiliar new fairy, then Yuna figured out that Minho wasn't like Jisung and he was actually a vampire, a creature that isn't familiar with how they speak.
Minho:"can I have something to read to kill time? Anything about history would be great"
Yuna nodded her head and flew across the room going to the book shelves where she took a closer look at the titles, Jisung loved to read books about dragons and unicorns that it was hard for her to search for what Minho was looking for.
She comes across a book about the history of this forest that jisung keeps it on the shelf because of the forest spirit complaining how carefree he is to be learning about undiscovered creatures rather than studying about his origins.
Yuna:"here you go Minho, I hope you like it"
The vampire receives the book where he reads the title and figures out it is going to be entertaining by the hundred pages it holds and how the book was pretty heavy in his arms.
He couldn't understand that Yuna was trying to wish him luck but it was enough for him to know that the fairy was being nice to him for the way she acted.
Minho:"thank you blue fairy, I apologize for being unaware of your name"
Yuna shocked her head saying it fine but then she remembered that Minho can't understand her.
If Jisung could teach him the fairy language, it would be better to communicate with the new guest.
Minho took a seat on a rocking chair besides the fireplace which fires were extinguished, Yuna sat on one of the chair handles and watched how Minho started reading the book he received.
The vampire was amazed by the forest history being a part of the fairy history, those creatures were always secretive that is why they had built this forest to keep the humans and vampires away and not because they carry a grunge against them, no! But because the fae king has done this to be able to protect his people from the fairy hunts 24 years ago.
Minho:"wait so...the forest is the same age as Jisung? I thought it would be older?"
Yuna wishes she could tell him that was true and the forest spirit is one of the fae King's most trusted knights that was tasked to protect the forest at all costs.
The rumors about this forest having a guardian before Jisung were all lies since the person who protected those woods from humans before the demi-fae came was the forest spirit, he had fused with the forest to be able to reach anywhere in a quiet second and be able to protect every corner of it.
Minho:"if the spirit is able to protect the forest on its own, then why Jisung is doing this job for him?"
He asked Yuna who told him the reason but he couldn't understand her again.
He came to the end of the book and left a mystery for him to solve by asking the fairy man about the forest more.
And just when he was thinking of him, the front door swapped open revealing a messy dirty Jisung while panting and holding a hug bag on his shoulder.
Jisung:"ahhh I'm tired I need a rest as soon as-"
He stepped on his free shoelaces that weren't tied up which caused him to fall on his face and made a loud "OWWW" for Minho to drop the book and went running towards the clumsy fairy man.
Minho:"are you okay mister.Jisung?"
With a worried expression, his tone was higher than it usually be as he examines Jisung full body to see if he's hurt somewhere but he was just covered with dirt stains.
The fairy man just put his hand behind his head scratching his hair while letting out a careless giggle from his mouth Really appreciating the vampire's kindness of looking after him even if it has been a day that they met.
Jisung:"I'm okay, I just need a quick bath before having dinner and going to sleep...don't mind me and continue doing whatever you are doing"
He lifted himself up and walked upstairs for Minho to stand him as well and walked towards the book shelf to return the book then he walked into the kitchen where he found fairies were cooking something.
Remy:"cut the mushrooms into thin slices taiyo! Yuna makes the dough with more flour! Our sungie had grown up and he needs double than he used to have when he was just a kid"
The red fairy ordered her sisters as she was making the blueberry jelly for the pie.
Minho's right eye had gone across all the room and all he could see was mushrooms and blueberries and left him confused and speechless if that was the only food Jisung eats.
Jisung:"okay I'm smelling something good! Minho you're here too...you wanna join me for dinner? I brought you so many kinds of animal blood from my hunt"
Minho smiled back at him, he doesn't know what the fairy man was hiding or his true motives of liking those two ingredients but now wasn't the time to be curious.
Minho:"sure, I would love that"
He would just enjoy his time with Jisung before digging into each other's secrets.
