Chapter 5

The smell of chocolate filled the room. Lao K looked at her. He was about to doze off any second. Jia Xuan made him wake up that early for her just to get him to taste her chocolate chip cookies.

"Yah, Lao K!" Jia Xuan shouted as she snapped her fingers to wake Lao K up. He looked at her, seeing the plate on the table, filled with cookies. "Try it."

"You sure you didn't poison the cookies?" Lao K questions as he inspects the cookies.

"I place poison inside. Still want to eat it?" Jia Xuan joked as she took the cookies and took a bite. Lao K rolled his eyes before taking a bite of the cookie.

"It's somehow edible," Lao K said, receiving a slap on the shoulder, "Ow! Bro, I said it is edible, not inedible."

"The word, somehow, is the one that annoyed me," Jia Xuan said as she slapped his shoulder one more time. Lao K dramatically shouted as he held onto his shoulder.

"Who is this for?" Lao K questions.

"Ai Jia. He seems to be getting skinnier," Jia Xuan said quietly. Lao K raised his eyebrows as he looked at the girl. He knew that it wouldn't just be for Ai Jia, Ai Jia doesn't even eat that much.

"Lies," Lao K muttered. A notification popped out as Jia Xuan looked at her phone.

"Blah Blah Blah. Nonsense. I'm going to go shopping with Tong Yao, Jin Yang and Chun Fang," Jia Xuan said, "Help me pack the cookies yeah. I'm going to get change." She then ran up to her room, leaving Lao K down there.

"미쳤어, 너희들 나랑 농담하는 게 맞나? (crazy, you guys need to be kidding me?)," Jia Xuan said as she looked at the three girls.

"It is true. Lu Yue was being an idiot. He tried to take photos of me and Cheng Ge but he couldn't," Tong Yao said.

"But that's because you guys threw ice water at his face, leaving him drenched," Jia Xuan said. Chun Fang laughed. "And you could've save your own boyfriend but you didn't but instead left him drenched."

"It was quite a sight to see though," Chun Fang shrugged. Jia Xuan hit the back of her head. Jin Yang slightly chuckled as she looked at Jia Xuan barely touching her food.

"Why aren't you eating? Have you been eating this slow?" Jin Yang chided.

"No... I'm just having slow digestion you know," Jia Xuan lied, she tried to eat one entire bite and swallowed it.

"Be more lady-like," Chun Fang said as she started eating elegantly. Jia Xuan looked at her boredly before shaking her head.

"Jiao Huang... I heard from Cheng Ge that Jiao Huang is going to have a girlfriend soon. He said that he has someone he likes..." Tong Yao mentioned, Jin Yang hit her shoulder, cursing at her for mentioning that.

"Really? The girl must be pretty then," Jia Xuan muttered as she looked down, "I'm happy for him and the girl."

"Lies."

Jia Xuan looked at the three before giving them a smile. "I am being serious. Believe me. He doesn't like me anymore, I have to admit that."

"How positive," Tong Yao said as she drank her drink.

"Oh my days. Disaster," Jin Yang shouted, "He announced it." She quickly send the article to the girls as they read the article. Jiao Huang announced his relationship with a girl who is Korean. She looked pretty, in fact prettier than Jia Xuan herself. The picture of them holding their hands, looking at each other lovingly. How sweet.

"What Ai Jia? Of course I've seen the news. He what? He brought her to the villa? The villa that I spent money renovating?! What the fuck? I'm coming back right now" Jin Yang shouted as she packed her bag. Jia Xuan and Tong Yao looked at each other, knowing that it was the first time they heard Jin Yang curse.

"She looks crazy. Follow her before she does something stupid," Chun Fang said quickly paying the bills for the food and pulling the other two girls out with her.

"Ai Jia, where the shit are they," Jin Yang shouted as she kicked the door opened. Ai Jia jumped out of the chair, pointing upstairs.

"Don't tell me that they are having you know," Tong Yao mumbled.

"Sex?" Jia Xuan casually said as she looked at the room.

"Shhhh, don't jinx it," Chun Fang whispered as she clung herself with Jia Xuan. Tong Yao doing the same.

"Bloody idiots," Jin Yang angrily muttered as she started to make her way up to level 2, footsteps clearly being loud. The door opened, revealing Jiao Huang and the girl.

"They look messy," Rong Rong muttered.

"They definitely did it," Liang Sheng said.

"The question is, why did they decided to do at the base," En Shuo questions.

"Or maybe they're horny fuckers?" Chun Fang butted in. They walked down the stairs, clearly ignoring Jin Yang's glare.

"아, 제 소개를 깜빡했네요. 저는 욘하나예요 (Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Yon Hana)," The girl said.

"And she is my girlfriend official girlfriend," Jiao Huang said. He looked at the others till he looked at the girl, waiting for her reaction. Jia Xuan looked at him and the girl, showing no emotions before smirking innocently.

"Congratulations... Do I need to get you guys a wedding ring?" Jia Xuan questions as she looked at them, fiddling her necklace, "Yon Hana, nice to meet you. I assume you are half-korean and half-japanese? If you don't understand anything that I said, ask your Jiao Huang, I'm sure he's able to translate it for you easily."

She raised her eyebrow before walking to the gaming table, taking out the necklace, placing it on Jiao Huang's area, before walking out of the villa.

"She's affected by it," Ai Jia mumbled.

"Definitely," Jin Yang said before glaring at the couple, "Call Ming Ze and Lu Yue and Lao K on stand-by." Ai Jia nodded his head, dialling them immediately.
