FOREVER MY MATE
CHAPTER ONE

In the United States, a man sat alone in Harvard's library, reading a book. His dark blue eyes were focused, and his white hair stood out. His face was lined with age, but his eyes still sparkled. He looked around 60 years old, with a lifetime of experiences etched on his face.
The soft glow of the library's lamps cast a warm light on Prof Wiackles, who sat hunched over his book, his eyes scanning the pages with a intensity that belied his advanced age. The musty scent of old books and the faint whisper of pages turning filled the air, creating a sense of reverent silence. Suddenly, the creak of the door broke the spell, and another elderly man entered, his face creasing into a warm smile. "ohh, Professor Wiackles, you're always buried in a book"' he exclaimed, his voice low and gravelly. Looking up, Professor Wackles met the man's gaze, his eyes twinkling with warmth. 'Dr. Jiouh, good to see you" he said, his voice barely above a whisper. Dr. Jiouh settled into the chair beside him, and together they turned their attention to the worn leather volume lying open on the table, its yellowed pages crackling with age.

Professor Wiackles closed the book, a warm smile on his face. The library was quiet, with only the soft glow of lamps and the whisper of pages turning. Dr. Jiouh looked at the old book with a mix of curiosity and concern. 'You're always here, alone, reading these old fictions,' he said, his voice gentle. "Isn't it time for something more?" He reached for the book, but Professor Wackles held on tight, his eyes sparkling with a hint of mischief. The book named, "The Hidden Secret".
Dr. Jiouh smiled and asked, "prof, why do you come to this university's old library every evening? Shouldn't we be doing more research or something?"

Professor Wiackles gazed wistfully out the window, lost in thought. He closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and a hint of nostalgia washed over his face. "It's because... my wife used to come to this library every evening," he said, his voice tinged with a mix of sadness and fond memories. "She loved getting lost in old fiction stories... just like I do now.'"
Dr. Jiouh felt sorry for Professor Wiackles and said, "I understand, and I'm sorry." Professor Wiackles smiled, an intelligent glint in his eye, and asked, "So, what brings you here?" Dr. Jiouh's face lit up as he chuckled and said, "We're starting a new lecture series for the new students on Monday, and I heard your daughter is joining us. I heard she's amazing, the best graduate student .

Professor Wiackles smiled and said, 'Yes, she is.' He stood up, returning the book to its shelf, and Dr. Jiouh followed suit. As they made their way out, Dr. Jiouh exclaimed, 'Wow, she's intelligent, just like you!' But Professor Wackles just smiled enigmatically and said, 'Hmm.' Dr. Jiouh knew that Professor Wackles wasn't one for small talk, so he simply followed him in silence as they left the large, old library.
Professor Wiackles Kim is a highly respected and exceptionally intelligent man, known globally for his remarkable wisdom. Despite whispers of her presence, she remains a mystery, as he has kept her out of the public eye. That is, until he recently revealed that she would be attending Harvard University.

Somewhere in California, inside a grand, white mansion, a lovely girl sat alone in the garden, surrounded by peaceful greenery. Her dark blue eyes, just like her dad's, sparkled with thoughts. Her red hair flowed like a wave, framing her pretty face and small pink lips. She wore a black shirt and a flowing white skirt, her slim figure looking elegant. At 17, almost 18yrs, she was a beauty. The garden was quiet, except for birdsong. She wondered about university life... Would she make friends? Would they like her? Would she be close to her dad? She asked herself these questions, lost in thought.
