Punch

A punch from Sameer's fist hit Pandit hard that he fell down on the floor. Following this came a cruel kick from Munna's side and the alternate sequence continued till Pandit's face was almost dismantled and blood started dripping.

"How dare you?" Sameer shouted at him.

"She trusted you this time! Somebody trusted you this time!" Munna exclaimed gritting his teeth.

Pandit collected strength and supported himself to stand up. None of them helped him.

******************************

As soon as the flight from Munich arrived, Munna and Swati were ready to pick them up and head towards Pandit's. It was Naina's decision to directly go to him and spill the drop of burning volcano inside all of them before it cools down.

Munna rang the bell incessantly even after Pandit opened the door. Pandit was directed by Sameer to his room and door was closed taking 3 best friends inside it.

Naina and Swati waited for their turn. Naina knew it was Sameer who was controlling his rage more than her.

Swati and Naina were not even willing to sit on his couch. They stood there and bitched about him. Swati felt sorry about Preeti and cursed Pandit with every cuss word she had in her dictionary.

Five minutes hence, the door was opened and Sameer's face was nothing like 'mission accomplished, it's your turn' it was more of a 'Someone threw up on my clothes'

Perplexed Naina ignored the idea of asking Sameer for information, she just stormed towards the room and found nobody inside except Munna.

Naina's culprit was missing, Swati came following. She turned the room upside down to find Pandit and headed towards Munna for answers.

He replied with a blank face.

Naina rushed back to her husband seeking for answers. Sameer too was standing with a blank face that looked like they wanted to hide something but so not have the lie ready with them.

"Well, I see" Naina said "you could've melted with Pandit's lies am I right?"

"He's not..." Sameer stopped in middle. Naina understood that whatever Pandit told them, it convinced both and now they are on his side.

She couldn't bear that neither could she forget Preeti's cracked voice.

"Fine! I'm going to my home now and do not try to contact me. I'll not see you till I solve this and get Pandit a well deserved punishment" Naina declared and asked Swati to accompany her.

Naina called a cab she didn't want to bother Mr. Maheshwari and his beloved friend. She stuffed her suitcase into the trunk and started to her home.

"What does they think of themselves?" Naina cursed.

"What could've happened in there? Munna is never so silent why is he not telling anything to me" Swati started inspecting.

Naina continued with her rage. "They all are same Swati, no matter what these boys will just care for their friendship, let family go to hell!"

"Back in the flight he was burning like a lava, I thought he would burn Pandit to ashes so I cooled him down but now see.."

"..Things have turned other way around" Swati whispered.

"What?" Naina almost shouted.

"I mean now he is cooled down totally right. Why why why?" She handled the situation by making it dramatic.

"He should be named Hiding Maheshwari, I don't know why he keeps hiding every big thing but shares things as small as mistakenly vacuuming a mosquito into his mouth or having a constipated stomach." Naina rolled her eyes and rested her case. Swati passed a disgusted chortle.

Sameer, on the other hand reached home only to witness another trauma. Sameer's cousin Mitali was at home unloading her at least a month luggage. He immediately took a U-turn but it was too late.

"Sameeeeeeeerr!" She sang in a pretentious voice. Her eyes already had caught him.

"Wait" as Sameer turned to her she did her thing of being overly polite with the servant insisting him to let her take the luggage.

"Please don't bother" she said but then Ramdhari without giving her any reply just dragged the suitcase into the house. He knew she would not be able to carry that bag.

"Ohhh! Ramdhari you're so sweet" she added an unwanted compliment.
