Brambleclaw entered the once Thunderclan camp.
“What happened here?” He mumbled, looking around in disbelief.
Squirrelpaw followed Brambleclaw, gingerly pacing around. Her orange fur spiked up in dismay.
“Is anyone here?” Squirrelpaw asked, yet she didn't wait for Brambleclaw’s response. “Hello! Anyone here?” Yelled Squirrelpaw, going into what's left of the apprentice den. "Be quiet, Squirrelpaw!" Brambleclaw hissed, not wanting to attract any attention.
“I'm going to check Cinderpelt’s den!” The apprentice informed Brambleclaw even though she was already almost in the medicine den.

“Hm?” Squirrelpaw looked up to hear a yowl. “Who was that?” Yet Squirrelpaw’s question was answered very quickly.
Suddenly, a cat jumped on Squirrelpaw, pinning the apprentice to the ground.
“Brambleclaw!” Squirrelpaw yelped, before feeling a pain in her stomach.
Quickly, Brambleclaw rushed to the medicine den and stopped dead once he arrived.

“Cinderpelt?!”
The attacker stopped, “Squirrelpaw? Brambleclaw?” The gray she-cat got off of Squirrelpaw, limping back.
“You two have come back! The fire and tiger sign must be correct!”
Squirrelpaw scrambled to her paws fast enough to ask, “what?”
Cinderpelt shook her fur, obviously waiting for Brambleclaw to say anything.
“Listen, it's a long story, I need to talk to Firestar. Where is the clan?” Brambleclaw avoided a long explanation, trying to talk to Firestar as soon as possible. Cinderpelt took a glance behind herself before responding.
“We moved to Sunningrocks because of what happened to the camp,” Cinderpelt informed the young warrior. She looked back to face the two cats. Brambleclaw's eyes widened. He turned to look down on Squirrelpaw.

"We are too late," Brambleclaw whispered in her ear.
Squirrelpaw raised a brow and scoffed. "No, we're not. ThunderClan is still alive," the ginger she whispered back.
They looked at Cinderpelt, who's fur laid flatly on her back. You could make out the outline of where her ribs started.
"Barely," Squirrelpaw added as she stared at Cinderpelt's fur. Brambleclaw let out a sigh before straightening up.
“Come on, follow me.”
Silently and Quickly, Cinderpelt took lead of the group. She grabbed the herbs she had collected and climbed up a slope that led to the roof of the camp walls.

"Hurry, I'm sure Firestar will be happy to see you all." Cinderpelt reassured the two. Squirrelpaw nodded before following the limping medince cat. Brambleclaw was last, he wanted to make sure no cat would sneak up on them from behind.
Will Firestar actually be happy though?
