It was quite dark when I reached my neighborhood. It's starting to get kinda cold. Should've worn a thin jacket. But it's boiling hot in the morning. I sighed and just ignored the shiver I felt.

I mindlessly strolled along the sidewalk when I heard footsteps behind me. Oh shit. Is this when I get kidnapped and get sold and get tortured to death. I've been a good girl I swear. Lord please have mercy on me. I didn't know what to do and froze for a second before I sped up a bit. Not watching where I was going, I ended up tripping over a dip in the concrete floor and fell. That was when I heard someone running closer to me. Oh my gosh. I knew it. They were just waiting to get me. I closed my eyes in horror as the person stopped before me.

I guess it is true that not being able to use one sense heightens the others because soon enough, a familiar scent filled my nose. I slowly opened my nose to see Jungwon kneeling down in front of me asking me if I was ok. Oh thank the lord it's just him. He helped me up and asked me why I was out this late and I explained briefly to him. After picking up my bags, he offered to walk me home and I remembered the main problem at hand right now.

"I forgot my keys..."
Upon hearing my words, Jungwon — who had started walking — paused in his tracks.
"How the hell do you forget your keys at home idiot?"
He sighed and told me to just follow him.

We walked in silence until I realized something.
"Wait. Why are you out at this hour?"
I noticed that he tensed up for a split second before actually normal again. Sus. He brushed it off saying he had to buy something at the convenience store and I was too tired to think farther and bought it.

Not realizing that he didn't have anything with him, which I definitely should've noticed.

Finally we reached his house and went in to see his grandma cooking dinner. She didn't seem to hear us as she continued to cook until Jungwon shouted that we were home. She turned around and her smile deepened when she saw me.
"Oh dear, it's so good to see you! I'm making dinner, would you like some?"
She asked me and I nodded. "Jungwon-ah bring Seomin to your room. You guys hang out and I'll call for you both when the food is ready."
The cued boy nodded at his grandma and led me upstairs.

It's been a while since I've been here. Is everything still the same? As I was thinking to myself, we reached Jungwon's room and he motioned for me to go inside. His room was much cleaner than it used to be. Honestly was my bad. I sat on his chair while he put my things down. It was a bit awkward, not knowing what to say and so we sat there staring at everything possible besides each other when he spoke up first.

"After we eat I'll grab the spare keys for you."
I looked over at him and nodded. We had a spare key to each other's houses cuz our parents felt that there was no need for any formalities to see each other. Only time I'm glad they made that decision. Just then, Jungwon's grandma called from downstairs to tell us the food was ready and we headed down. The food looked so good and I thanked her for the meal before digging in. Honestly that one meal in the afternoon was not enough for me to stay full throughout the tiring day.

"Seomin-ah," I looked up from my bowl after being cued "are you planning to stay the night?" I almost chocked on my food after hearing the sweet old lady's suggestion. I quickly waved my hands like crazy and grabbed some tissue to wipe my mouth.
"Haha slow down, be careful. I'll get Jungwon to walk you home later then, but feel free to come over whenever you want! I've missed my tea time with you and this boy here is seriously so dense all the time or whatever you kids these days say."
I couldn't help but giggle and nodded.

"Grandma I'll come by often to keep you company I promise. Oh how I've missed your food."
The elderly woman smiled and said to Jungwon for him to bring meals for me who agreed but glared at me when grandma wasn't looking. I just stuck my tongue out at him and continued with my meal.
