I slide the door open and hop out of the van once we arrived. I pull out my gun and flashlight. We don't know what exactly we're walking into here. Five does the same once he climbs out.

"Everyone should follow Five and Y/n!" Lila suggests. "They're the ones with guns!"

We cautiously enter the building. All the lights are turned off, except for the bright neon sign on the front, which is odd, since it should be closed by now.

The farther we venture in, I soon realize that not all the lights are off. There's still some dim ones on in the back. That's pretty obvious as to where Viktor is. I guarantee it's where he is.

Five and I shine our lights around the area once we walk farther into the back, which is exactly where Viktor is, before lowering them, showing that it's okay to move forward.

Luther walks towards the body, Viktor, in the chair and takes the hood off of his head. "Hey, there he is. You doing okay there, buddy?"

Viktor squints his eyes, due to our flashlight. "I'd be a lot better if I was untied."

"Oh-" Luther starts untying one of his hands, while Ben starts on the other.

"So, you really couldn't make it to your niece's birthday?" Diego asks.

Viktor shoots him a look. "Well, I was literally on my way towards the building when I got kidnapped, so-"

Diego scoffs. "Nice excuse." This earns him an elbow to the side, which in return earned me a glare. I think it's clear why he couldn't make it.

"So, who got you? Hargreeves and his goons?" Ben asks, dropping the rope after untying it.

"No way." Five shakes his head. "All of this is the work of an amateur."

"I apologize that my methods are crude, but this was my first kidnapping." A new voice enters the conversation, causing Five and I to bring up our guns and flashlights again in the direction it came from.

"And hopefully, my last." A man steps out from behind racks of clothes, shakily aiming a gun at us. "But I need your help."

"And you think kidnapping our brother and aiming a gun at us is going to buy you any goodwill?" Five retorts.

The man's aim only becomes shakier. "This was the only way I could make sure all of you came. I couldn't leave it up to chance, especially when it comes to...the Umbrella Academy."

"No one's called us that is six years..." Diego says warily. The Umbrella Academy never even existed here, so he really needs to watch what he says.

I walk closer, more to Five's side, since I was sort of behind him. "I think you're sorely mistaken. This Umbrella Academy doesn't exist."

"Ok..." The man, who I'm assuming is Sy, breaths out. "Just...ok...let me-" He splutters and lays his gun down and starts to open a box. "Can you explain all this, then?"

He pulls out an old newspaper clipping and shows it off, but I can't see what it said, since Diego ripped it from the man's hold.

"What...when the hell did we save the Eiffel Tower..?" Klaus asks rhetorically. At least I have basic knowledge of what's on the paper now.

"This was all stuff that was in the trunk of my daughter's car." Sy informs. "Her name is Jennifer."

Diego starts rummaging through the box. "Where did she get this stuff?"

"I-I have no idea." Sy stammers. "But, my daughter- she's gone missing. She- she started attending these really weird meetings. They called themselves 'The Keepers.' She was going for three months and-and now she's gone."
