Fear Street - Rinney

Chapter 3

"Robin." Finney said looking up at the boy while getting up off of the floor now face to face with the boy who was slightly taller than him.

"I didn't think you were coming." Robin said looking at Finney.

"I thought you quit Baseball." Robin continued.

"Yeah, I did.... Here." Finney said kicking the box towards the boy in front of him as Robin looked down and then looked at Finney.

"What..."Robin said bending down and opening the box and staring at what's inside before looking up at Finney.

"Is this my stuff?" Robin asked still looking at the boy as Finney nodded as Robin stood back up stilling looking at Finney then Finney began to walk back to where the crowd was but Robin grabbed Finney's wrist making him stop and quickly look back at the boy.

"Wait can we just talk for a second?" Robin asked staring at the boy.

"No." Finney said with a bitter tone and pulled his wrist out of Robins grasp and started to walk again.

"You broke up with me remember? So stop acting like I'm the bad guy." Robin yelled making Finney quickly stop and turn around facing Robin.

"Yeah, well I'm not the one who moved to Aurora. Ok you made the choice I just made it official." Finney said.

"My parents got divorced. I didn't have a choice. Robin said which made Finney scoff and roll his eyes.

"Oh come on! you just couldn't wait to start your new life with your fake-ass mom!" Finney yelled which he knew what he said made Robin angry he saw him made a fist Robin took a deep breath trying to keep his cool before speaking again.

"i am half an hour away." Robin said.

"It might as well be the goddamn moon, and you know it." Finney said.

"I don't know anything!" Robin yelled.

"Yeah well I do. I know you were always too afraid to tell anyone about us. I know that." Finney spoke tears forming in his eyes

"You didn't want people to know that you were dating me. because you see how much I get bullied for being gay and you didn't want to get picked on, which I don't know why you would care because people are too afraid to even look at you." Finney said as a tear rolled down his face which he quickly wiped away.

"And I know that you were out there squeezing some girls ass." Finney said.

"You broke up with me."Robin simply said.

"What's her name?"Finney said looked at Robin.

"You broke up with me!"Robin yelled getting closer to Finney's face.

"What's her name Robin!"Finney yelled Robin just looked at him for a second before turning around walking away but Finney was following him.

"What's her name!"Finney yelled again then Robin quickly turned around.

"Veronica!"Robin yelled.

"Her name is Veronica!"Robin yelled again while Finney just stared at him.

"You don't get it!"Robin said.

"No, no I do."Finney said sarcastically.

"There's not much of a future in Denver with a gay freak."Finney said looking Robin.

"Best case is what? Dead on the mall floor after a double shift, or maybe if you're really lucky you're the one carrying the knife."Finney said looking at Robin then robins shook his head.

"Jesus you're doing it again."Robin said staring at finney.

"Doing what?"Finney asked.

"Welcome to the suck!" "Shut is doomed!" Robin said mocking Finney.
