It was a cold, foggy night in the small town of Corvallis. The streets were eerily quiet, with only the occasional rustle of leaves breaking the silence. Y/N had always loved the thrill of a good scare, but tonight, the fear was all too real.
Y/N had decided to take a shortcut through the old, abandoned park. The stories about the park were legendary—tales of disappearances, strange noises, and shadowy figures. But Y/N was determined to prove that they were just that: stories.
As Y/N walked deeper into the park, the fog grew thicker, and visibility became almost nonexistent. Suddenly, a chilling scream pierced the air, sending a shiver down Y/N's spine. The sound seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere at once. Y/N's heart raced, and they began to run, the adrenaline pumping through their veins.
Out of the corner of their eye, Y/N saw a figure lurking in the shadows. It was tall, with long, bony fingers and eyes that glowed with an unnatural light. The figure moved with a speed that defied logic, closing the distance between them in mere seconds. Y/N's breath came in ragged gasps as they sprinted through the park, desperate to escape.
But the figure was relentless. It caught up to Y/N, its cold, clammy hands wrapping around their throat. Y/N struggled, but the grip was too strong. The figure's eyes bore into Y/N's soul, and a sinister smile spread across its face. With a swift, brutal motion, the figure slashed at Y/N's chest, the pain searing and blinding.
Y/N's vision blurred as they felt their life slipping away. The last thing they saw was the figure's grotesque face, twisted in a look of pure malice. As darkness enveloped Y/N, the park fell silent once more, leaving only the fog and the echoes of a scream that would haunt the town forever.
