Y/N stirred in their sleep, a sense of unease washing over them. They had done everything they could to protect themselves, but the feeling of being watched was overwhelming. Suddenly, a creak from the hallway jolted them awake.

Their heart raced as they strained to listen in the darkness. The traps they had set should have alerted them to any intruder, but the silence was unnerving. Y/N reached for the baseball bat they kept by their bed, gripping it tightly.

Slowly, they crept out of bed, their eyes adjusting to the dim light filtering through the window. They moved cautiously towards the door, every step measured and quiet. The house seemed to hold its breath, the tension almost palpable.

As Y/N approached the door, they could feel a presence on the other side. Their mind raced with fear and determination. They had to face whatever was out there; running was not an option. With a deep breath, they tightened their grip on the bat and flung the door open.

To their horror, Eyeless Jack stood there, his hollow eyes staring back at them. The sight of him sent a chill down Y/N's spine, but they refused to back down. Summoning all their courage, they raised the bat, ready to defend themselves.

The room seemed to shrink as they faced off, predator and prey locked in a deadly dance. Y/N's heart pounded in their chest, but they knew they had to stay focused. This was their home, and they would fight to protect it, no matter the cost.
Y/N's breath caught in their throat as they locked eyes with Eyeless Jack in the hallway. His hollow, dark sockets seemed to pierce through them, an abyss of nothingness staring back. The air grew colder, and a shiver ran down their spine.

Determined not to show fear, Y/N tightened their grip on the bat, their knuckles turning white. "What do you want?" they demanded, their voice steady despite the terror coursing through them. They knew they had to stay strong, to not give in to the fear that threatened to paralyze them.

Eyeless Jack tilted his head slightly, as if contemplating their question. The silence was deafening, each second stretching into an eternity. Y/N's mind raced, trying to think of a way out, a way to survive this encounter.

Then, without warning, Eyeless Jack lunged forward. Y/N swung the bat with all their might, aiming for his head. The bat connected with a sickening thud, but Jack barely flinched. Panic surged through Y/N as they realized the bat wouldn't be enough.

They had to think fast. With adrenaline pumping through their veins, Y/N dodged Jack's outstretched hand and sprinted down the hallway. They needed a plan, and they needed it fast. The fight for survival had only just begun.
