"You are such a good liar. I almost believed you," Xavier said, laughing.

"I am not lying," Desiree replied.

"Yes, you are. How do you expect me to believe that you met Dimitri Black in a hospital waiting room and gave him relationship advice?"

"Xave, I'm not lying. He even gave me his business card."

"Ok then, give me the business card."

"It's at home. I obviously haven't been taking the card with me everywhere for a week."

"I still won't believe you until you show me the business card."

"This is why I hate coming over to your house alone. You're so mean to me," Desiree teased.

"Hey, I like it when you're here. We've been hanging out with our friends too much. We don't spend enough time alone, just the two of us anymore," Xavier said, clasping Desiree's hand in his.

"We really don't."

"Wait, let's have a date night tonight."

"Where?"

"Ive forgotten the name but we could go to that famous Chinese restaurant that opened up last week."

"No. I don't want to do that. Let's have a movie night."

"Oh, you want to go to the movies?"

"Why don't we just have the movie night at my house?" Desiree questioned.

"Or at my house."

"I feel really guilty about us always using your house for our stay in nights."

"Don't feel guilty about it babe. I do have an at home movie theatre. If you didn't want to use it, I would be worried," Xavier joked.

"I'm serious. Let's have it at my house."

"Come to think about it, you're right. We should have the movie night at your house. My parents are getting off of work really early, meaning they would be here during our date."

"Your parents are going to be here? We should totally have the date night at your house," Desiree eagerly said.

"Gotcha. Using my parents as bait always works. I'm starting to think you love them more than I do."

"You tricked me," Desiree accused, grabbing a pillow off the couch and hitting him.

"Hey. This isn't fair. I am in a relationship in which I am being abused. Do you think I could take you to the cops for that?"

"Oh my God, shut up," Desiree said, doubling over with laughter.

"You're so beautiful when you laugh," Xavier whispered.

"Thank you," Desiree said sincerely.

"Don't thank me for telling the truth, not to mention the fact that you smell really good."

"Way to ruin the moment," Desiree said, feigning anger.

"Hey, I can be romantic when I want to."

"I know and that's what I love about you. Your ability to switch from funny to serious is amazing."

"Your ability to switch from cute, to pretty, to beautiful, to stunning, is a talent only few are blessed with."

"Nicely done, Xavier, nicely done."

"I know, I know. The crowd is cheering in my head."

"I love you Xavier," Desiree said, placing her head on his chest,
