In the hot afternoon the b-ball players are crowded at one table which is on the left side of mine. You would think they own the cafeteria since they scream and yell unnecessarily as though they are the only ones here. All thanks to being labelled as the "Western High stars" their egos are floating all over the place being inconsiderate of pupils trying having their meals.

However I'm peeking at Piet with the corner of my eyes, my head in the palm of my hands. His amongst the b-ball players though he seems to be dazed in his own world. While the rest of the crew is doing quite a brilliant job at irritating everyone, his content with eating his lunch quietly. Just to be specific, Austin is throwing spit balls at some sassy girls sitted at the tables opposite theirs. The girls duck in a pretentious way almost proving to be enjoying his attention.

Now paying full attention to Piet I feel my self drooling at a slight smile he made to something one of his buddy said. I'm made aware that his lower lip is sexy pink, it has me wishing I could crush his mouth with my lips until he couldn't breathe. The idea of turning my fantasy into reality hits a nerve such that I breathe a huge sigh in relief. I don't want him to catch me looking yet i wonder if he would stare back with admiration if our eyes met.
"Who are you looking at?" Tiffany creeps on me.

I suddenly sit bolt upright, almost feeling the need to curse at her wrong timing.

"Don't ever sneek up on me like that," my voice sounds harsh than I intended it to.

"I hate it when you leave us behind," Tiffany complains."It's like you're continuously trying to ditch us."
She says slumps into the bench across mine with a plate full of salad.

At the same moment Evelyn mellows her voice at a girl who's sitted on the edge of the bench on Tiffany's side. She is trying to convince her to move  somewhere else but unfortunately the girl boldly refuses. This particular  girl is not about to be chased from her seat by the cute names; love, darling that Evelyn softly calls her.

"I was hoping to have my chips and soda in peace," I say flatly to Tiffany.

"Why the hell are you eating french fries?" Evelyn asks under her breathe, it seems she managed to chase the girl though it took much more effort than she had anticipated.

"You honestly don't expect me to answer that, right?" I asks while adding more ketchup to my chips.

"Do you always have to be so ghetto." Evelyn mutters in a disgusted manner.

With the crispy taste of the chips  filling up my mouth I couldn't find the best possible response for her such that all I could do is give her a frosty stare.

"Eating fries doesn't make you ghetto," Tiffany regards to her humorless.

"My opinion exactly." I say delighted to Tiffany's response.

"Jeez, no. I'm not stupid, I mean the way she does it. Evelyn says to Tiffany though we all know It's directed to me. "It's unlady like," Evelyn explains.
"Oh,yeah!" Tiffany agrees then shaves the salad into her mouth.

How they continue to babble and discuss my being! As if i'm not there listening to every word their saying. Even to the extend of argueing that chips have copious amount of fat and therefore girls should be banned from eating them.

While their at it, i'm given sufficient time to again peek at Piet that is now talking to Austin who has surprisingly stopped harassing the girls. Honestly  to me Piet seems like a gentleman, his exquisitely the most handsome boy I have seen to date. His humble manner, innocence and compelling brown eyes drive me nuts.

Almost before I knew it Piet catches me red handed, our eyes locked, oh heavenly and to my ultimate surprise he winks at me. In that very moment my heart hammered greatly. Whoa, what! Did he just wink at me? A little embarrassed I quickly turn away though unable to surpress the smiles that emerged from the end of my mouth.
