I sat at the desk, looking at the screen in front of me. I wasn't really sure how to go on about this. I've never been stalky nor have had to investigate someone. I did run into Gray, but only by chance on his way to the elevator. When I used my ability on him, I did figure out he worked with a team of people close to the Dean, but he didn't know much about the drafts itself, so I wondered why Orion wanted me to find out more about him.

Staring at my screen again I get a sudden tap on my shoulder. Looking up it was Mia. Maybe she knew something about the people close to her father. I smiled once seeing her.

"Hi Belle! It's almost time to go home. Are you excited." She had a wide grin on her face. I chuckled a bit before nodding. "I was thinking if maybe you wanted to go out today. Only if you're not super busy."

I thought for a second. Maybe I could take this time to find out more about people from her. She enjoyed talking and overall gossiping.

"I'd love to Mia. We can meet somewhere. Tell me when." After we agreed around 4, I started packing up to get ready to leave. Making my way to the library, I spot the same man I needed to see.

Gray.

He was alone this time.

Stepping into the elevator, I glanced at what floor he was heading to. The lobby. He didn't have anything with him so he maybe heading to the cafeteria. I take a peak at him. He looked rather creepy. He was much older as well, around 50. I sighed, then the elevator decided to suddenly stop abruptly. Having it shake for a bit, it came to a halt in between floors.

"Oh wow, this elevator suddenly stopped?!" Gray said, rubbing the back of his head. He seemed to happy about this. I narrowed my eyes but smiled nonetheless to him.

"Haha, it seems so. I'll press the fire department button."

"Oh no!" He spoke out loud, making me stop inches away from the button. "The elevator does this often. It'll get fixed in a few minutes. No need to bother the fire department." I hesitated but stepped away. Odd how he knew this happened often.

"So...what department are you from. You look rather young." He asked me. I knew this guy was creepy. I tighten my grip on my notebook in my hands. This was a perfect time to get information from him. According to last time I saw, he wasn't shy in bragging or being over confident. I gave him a smile.

"I'm from HR." I lied. I used to work there so if asked for me there, he'd find some trace. It was better than telling him where I actually worked. His old creepy eyes scanned my body up and down with a grin. He definitely was not shy.

"Well that's nice, young ladies like you working. Don't be shy, I've been working here for ages. I know my way around." I tilted my head, wondering what else he knew.

"Oh wow, you've worked here for a while? Then you must be high up."

"Oh yes I am!" He rubbed his nose, his chest out full of confidence. "In fact I'm involved with the Dean himself."

"Oh you must be doing very special work then. What do you do?"

He glanced around, as if checking if there was anyone listening even though we were both in an elevator alone.

"I manage a small team that gives very special reports. Those reports go on helping a much larger project. One that will change the world!"

My eyes narrowed. He wasn't high up if he didn't handle the drafts himself. I thought that maybe right now would be a good time to take a peak at his knowledge. I pretend I get a notification on my phone and excuse myself for a second before letting my eyes glow. I go into his mind. What knowledge did you have for me.
