     The world began with Adam and Eve. God loved them very much, but Lucifer didn't like the attention God was giving them. He devised a plan to trick them and make God angry at them, so he told Eve to eat from the forbidden tree God told them not to eat from. Eve was tempted and went to the tree. Yet with much attempt, Eve was stopped by Adam. He yelled out to her and told her that God would be upset. Lucifer argued, stating that God was hiding things from them, but Adam looked deep into Eve's eyes. "Do you trust me." He asked her. Eve hesitated, but she nodded and did not take the fruit.

     Lucifer was enraged and so was God. He punished Lucifer, and praised Adam and Eve. Because of the trust the two had, God gave them a gift. The power to be able to be together and feel whole. From then on, the world grew. The beings from above, including God, continued to praise humans for their good decisions, giving them more pieces of their powers. Until evil struck again.

     Lilith was her name. She fell in love with Lucifer on day, claiming that he was her soulmate. Lucifer took advantage of her blind love and told her, "The world disapprove of us. They are jealous. Show your dedication and burn them." So, Lilith did as that. She let the world burn for him. He watched with satisfaction. Unfortunately, she was a human, a bad one, so God punished everyone. If one wanted to be selfish, then everyone had to pay the price. God broke up every soulmate in the world, along with weaking their powers. If you wanted to use your full abilities, you had to find your other half.

"That was very mean of her mama." The little girl frowned as she laid in bed. The unicorn blankets covered half her body. Her mother smiled while sitting at the end of her small bed. 

"But it's okay my dear. God didn't make it difficult for us to find our soulmates." She gently poked the little girl's nose, causing the two to giggle. "When you have a very strong feeling...when you believe you know its right, that is because your soul knows...your soulmate is there. That is how God made it easy to find our other half."

"Is daddy your soulmate mama?" The little girl tilted her head. Deep inside she knew the answer, or more she hoped it was the correct answer.

"Yes he is baby. Your daddy is my soulmate. I knew it the day we met because our powers went," Her mother did explosion sounds followed by her arms moving high and far apart. The two giggled again because her mother kissed her cheek and said goodnight. The little girl was happy. She stared at the ceiling and wondered how she'd meet her soulmate. Her eyes close heavy, letting her mind drift.

"-belle!" The house shook. "My dear wake up!" The little girl was shook by her grandmother- her face scared and confused. "My dear lets go!" Her grandmother drags her running out the house, her bare feet hitting the hard concrete floor of the driveway. She whined at the pain to only stop suddenly. She didn't realize it until now- the burning world in front of her eyes. Her grandmother pushed her into a car, hopping in as well and letting the car drive off. The little girl saw through the window the flames that rose up- the distant screams. Her face was blank, mouth slightly open. Where was mama...where was papa? From the top of blaze, she could see a figure with long hair, arms up. "Lilith?" The little girl shed a tear.

     The alarm went off. A rather annoying sound that wasn't the original alarm tone I used. I groan as I grab my phone confused. Why the hell was it on a different sound. Fully wake by now I stretch my body before staring off into space. This was the second week of me being an intern at I.S.S (Institute of Scientific Studies). I was happy, it was a 6 hour paid internship for only four days a week. Most importantly, at a top company where I dreamed of working at for ages. I studied incredibly hard to get here, and I was enjoying the fruits of my labor.
