"oh quit the look, darling. u didnt actually-"
she held back a laugh, smirking.
"-u didn't actually trust me, did you?" lillith spoke, clearly mocking perdita's foolishness.
"lillith.. give me back my pen." perdita spoke, brushing off lillith's little 'comment', with a glare in her eyes, staring daggers.
lillith, with no hesitation, spoke "no." bluntly, still holding the pen her familiar gave her.
perdita, repeated herself, a bit faster, taking a step forward, "Give me back my pen, moon witch."
"finally u call me what I really am, darling." lillith rolled her eyes.
"I SAID GIVE ME MY PEN!" perdita shouted, clearly furious
lillith chuckled "someones salty~"
perdita had enough, she pulled out a dagger, and without hesitation, lunged her dagger to lillith's eye, but lillith dodged, causing the dagger to graze lillith's cheek, leaving a mean scar.
lillith's eyes immediately went wide, and so did blood moon's.
perdita was breathing heavily, holding the now-bloodied dagger in her clenched fist. and she felt a horrible tension in the air as she took a breath.
lillith held her hand up to her cheek, feeling the blood drip, and blood moon chuckled lowly, clearing their throat and spoke; "whos weak now, 'darling'?" mocking lillith.
lillith cleared her throat, "I still have the pen, don't forget that, ur precious sister's legacy is all mine.." and lillith had a wicked grin, she was in danger, but didn't care.
perdita laughed, taking a step closer, looking lillith in the eye.
"you're smiling now, but u wont be smiling when u wake up in hell tomorrow."
blood moon noticed the very narrow distance lillith and perdita had and smirked.
lillith was a bit flustered, but she would NEVER admit that. of course, she hated perdita.
perdita still had that scornful glare, taking a step back.
"now, may I ask again.. can I have my pen back, 'moon witch'?" perdita spoke lowly, not breaking eye contact.
lillith raised a brow, chucking softly.
"hm.. u know what.. u can have it.." lillith spoke, there was clearly something off about this. and she handed perdita the pen.
perdita blinked, breaking eye contact "I.. what?"
without hesitation, blood moon took perdita's hand, blurting out; "you have the pen, lets go."
perdita was gonna say something to lillith but decided not to, and as her and blood moon ran, lillith was staring at perdita, she was clearly planning something, something bad..
Perdita's heart raced as she and Blood Moon dashed through the narrow, winding path of the forest. The moon hung high in the sky, casting an eerie glow that illuminated their path just enough to keep them from stumbling. The air was thick with the scent of rain and danger, and every shadow seemed to hold a hidden threat.
"Are you sure you know where you're going?" Perdita asked breathlessly, glancing over her shoulder.
Blood Moon shot her a reassuring look, their eyes gleaming with a mix of determination and something softer—something that made Perdita's pulse quicken in a way that had nothing to do with their escape. "Trust me. I know these streets better than anyone."
